H2H Automatic Loss Glitch?

Just joined a playoff game, my opponent waited and let the CPU select a kick return play, caught it at the 5 and didn’t move. I tackled him and he started on offense. He didn’t select a play, waited 15 seconds and paused the game. When the pause ran out, the game came back and the error popped up thats says something along the lines of “error with server, this game may not count.” Of course I got the loss and my opponent told me in messages he got the win.

Anyone else experience this? I’m hoping it’s just an unfortunate coincidence but it felt very deliberate. This is also just the 2nd game in at least 100 between CUT/MUT I’ve played that I got disconnected so it wasn’t my internet. I lost a playoff game without even taking a snap which absolutely blows. Not trying to whine, just curious if this is some glitch, because the guys team was absolutely stacked.

Ive noticed alot of opponemts standing there after fielding the kick in recent days. Maybe thats wgat they were trying to do. If only ea gave a damn about the customer other than their money.
