Heads Up - Sets Expiring in the Coming Week

Hey gang - in prep for a potential Team Diamonds release, I did some scouring to see what program sets are expiring ahead of the launch of Season 4.  In line with expirations for Campus Heroes, Season of Boom, and Game Time last season, number of Season 2-based programs are expiring as expected:

Breakouts: 80 OVR, 82 OVR, and 85 OVR - 88 OVR does not expire

Gridiron Guardians: 81 OVR, 83 OVR, 86 OVR, AND 89 OVR DOES EXPIRE next week

The expiration of the 89 GGs is a total surprise to me, and potentially makes these cards at risk of being quite rare if they're set pieces in a potential Team Diamonds release.

THAT SAID - if Team Diamonds are released at 92 OVR, it's historically unlikely that an 89 OVR would be a set piece in the first place, so there's an implicit gamble in play here around building these ahead of time.

However, better safe than sorry on the 82/85 Breakouts and 83/86 Gridiron Guardians.

after the BS they pulled last year im over prepping for team diamonds. ill just buy one if I want one. really really lame that they take sets away though.

i’ll only prebuild sets i know the requirements of. Like future AKA, legend or TOTW sets. 

wont ever prebuild an unknown set based upon previous years, they change shit all the time

Good info and thanks for the heads up. But there’s so many reasons why Team Diamonds aren’t fun anymore. It’s sad,  but I’ll just sell into the hype, and not risk getting EA’d.
