Not at all. 

I was talking about myself as well.

UK and Germany have the biggest scenes, but the majority of the population are casual to no knowledge .

The statement is factual and doesn't put anyone in a "hick" category.

okay it’s also not nearly as big tho. Germany’s league isn’t very big at all, at least not where I lived
