Is there a reason why hard flats don't play zig routes? A zig is a short outside breaking route, it should be played by a hard flat right? I remember they used to like 5 years ago, doesn't seem right that they would purposefully make defensive logic worse.
Any tips for defending zigs would be appreciated, I've heard 5 yard hook zones work, but they have been inconsistent for me.
Also wondering why cloud zones don't play corner routes, they literally have 1 responsibility...the intermediate sidelines.
I think it's stupid to have to use zone drops, because your defenders often don't even play where you tell them to...and when they do they stand there like statues covering grass and playing completely unintelligently.
