Honest review of fully PU Vick

So I got Vick. Powered him up.  Put SFL and QD on him

As far as mobility.... oh course he mobile but behind scrimmage he does not have 90 speed. QBs run slower behind the liney unless they have EA on them.  I got tracked down by Bosa, Bruce Smith, Chandler Jones, LT.....when I did break contain Vick was a handful. I gained nice chunks of yardage but he did fumble on a hit. So if you just want a QB you can roll out with and think you'll have time,  you probably won't

As far as pocket passing or passing after short movements in the pocket or even rolling a little and taking your finger off sprint, with my THP boosts , he threw lasers. Absolute lasers. Accurate and fast. I was sure one pass was gonna be lurked but it got there so fast it was a completion for  a TD.

So I'd say if you're going to use his running and rolling out wisely and not spam it..... throw from the pocket or just outside the pocket with set feet,  probablythe best QB in the game.

Once you get him it's not that hard to power him up because you get back a BND 88 as well as the full  cand. The 88 BND goes into the power up so you don't have to spend coins or pull a 2nd 88 Vick.

I think there’s not going to be any rollout qbs anymore. Unless you can somehow break free of the line, that’s it. But he’s still the best/fastest thrower for awhile.

He throws darts man. Just have to be comfortable with a lefty QB. You can roll with him but only to the edge of the line. One you go past that like people used to do , to the sideline,  youbetter throw that ball quickly because he's usually not going to escape,  even with that speed

Yeah I’ve always used Vick for the Steelers TT. So just flip most plays and it’s easy.

I get they nuked escape artist but now it's unrealistic too far in the other direction with mobile QB's being terrible at what got them their archetype and thus they're devalued. Mobile QBs with the archetype shouldn't need escape artist to move faster behind the line. They should just move faster behind the line because that's their archetype. With the new passing mechanic they have people are still going to want to be that pocket passer more often but completely nuking mobile quarterbacks was wrong & it's not representative of the game we see on Sundays.

The problem with a lot of peoples perspectives on mobile qbs is that they can’t roll out and take off for 50 yards. When you scramble, try taking it up the middle. You won’t get 50 yards, but you won’t have to deal with edge rushers and all that will be left are DTs and maybe a MLB, all of which you should be able to outrun for a first down.

I mean, all players should just have the speed on their card, shouldn’t matter if it’s behind the line. When was the last time you saw Lamar run in quicksand til he hit the LOS and then suddenly sprint. It’s stupid.

I agree but EA doesn't think that makes for good gameplay I guess. There's next to zero mobility now and that has made the scrambler's & improv archetype QB's kinda pointless.

They need to turn the clock back to no Abilities and simple chems so your cards just played to stats. It’s all gimmicks now.
