And keep in mind, you got that response while literally all of EA is oin vacation - so that right there should show it's automated...and shows the extent of their "investigation".
SportsPerson94 said:The problem is that the guy was banned by EA's garbage automated system and that's bullshit. He has been here for days telling us he didn't do anything and i believe him. Why would he lie to us? Were not EA.
You can't get anybody from EA to talk with. Like a live person on the phone who can listen and hear you out. It's fucking sad. People spend time and money on the game and you can't even find a person who can help.
If the problem is buying a card for too much or too little or selling, that's bullshit too. If i snipe a ZC 93 for 30k, should i get banned for buying it? Or did i just capialize off of a mistake? How can you have an AH and not have a live representative that your customers can speak to when something happens? Especially when you ban people and pretty much tell them all to go fuck themselves.
I agree with what you indicated above, as I have had my own issues with trying to get a real person to help you through an issue... It is almost impossible!!! Over the years, I have only been successful getting a "live person" a couple of times, and it was through using the App..
I will say though with your example above, it wouldn't be getting the snipe at 30k that would trigger the system. It would be something like selling one of the ZC 93s for like 1.5mil that would trigger it. At least that's how I would guess the system works.. But that is pure speculation...

According to OP, he didn't do anything like that so it sounds like a bullshit ban imo. Hopefully they overturn it but like you said, it's literally impossible to get a live person.
iJoebruin should get ban too for Farming Coins LOL

FTC and BBB are possible routes. I plan to file a claim depending on my appeal outcome. If only to spite EA.
They are in fact creating a virtual marketplace selling a currency and/or goods for real dollars. To remove the individuals rights to use these things, goods/currency, is a problem. Especially when compounded with the inability to then exchange these goods back for real dollars upon ban. Add on the fact that they do not have adequate controls in place, a CS or audit group that is actually in touch with the people charged with infractions, etc. While a smaller scale, this is a Robinhood Inc. sort of situation.
Reason: Clarity

Totally agree. I can’t even imagine the types of FTC violations going on at EA, but there is no one to hold them accountable and we all sign some vague ass user agreement in order to play every year so legally I doubt anything could ever be done.

Maybe there is a NZ version of those things
RyyoLurkedEm said:literally. and crazy thing is i never sniped anyone. i sold my 93s off for market value and bought 88s for 30-60k and that got me pinged
So ridiculous. Also just to circle back to two things that were mentioned by sportsperson and others:
1. The not being able to reach a real person who knows what they're talking about (not just an automated system of nothingness or someone on the other side of the planet who English is like their third language reading off a flowchart and has no actual knowledge of the product they are "servicing") has been a growing problem in all industries, including government offices. It seems everyone used the covid nonsense excuses to make these kind of practices the new permanent normal.
2. As for the language of farming coins being ambiguous, its true and also a growing practice in general. The term "hate speech" is a similar example of something that can be selectively applied when convenient to those using it as an excuse to do as they please. Look up how T Mobile has recently changed their terms of service and can now literally fine you for "hate speech" in even your own text messages amongst yourselves. As always there is no real definition of what is hate speech which means similar to "farming coins" theyll technically be able to do pretty much whatever they want and its covered in their fine print.
Last time I complained because of not getting the MCS poa card, and showed them proof that I watched the stream , they answered back saying there’s nothing wrong with the stream. Then when I replied complaining and showing proof, they asked for proof 2 more times, then said they acknowledged the problem and would give me the card.
then after not hearing from them for over a week, I wrote them asking for when I’d get the card, and they responded with the same generic reply that I first recieved “there was nothing wrong with the stream”.
worst customer service I’ve ever experienced , but from ea this was expected.
they also have the thing for creating help cases Hidden, as it takes forever to figure it out and submit one. Which automatically closes if u don’t reply. They def do it internally so people do not submit cases.
Are you done with madden because EA told you that your done?? Or……?

Right!! Lmao!!
Just curious. Did you complete the team diamond sets?

EA claimed that the OP was involved in "match cheating" and then switched their reasoning for the ban. Don't think TD sets had anything to do with this, but ynk.
"or abuse the Auction House" is a wide open statement by EA. EA can consider almost anything "abuse" of the AH. Buy Low and Sell High...see ya..."abuse" of the Auction House. Wanna stock up on set cards before a release? Wait for it..."abuse" of the Auction House. Got to be the craziest "standard" I have ever read (unless there is a list indicating what "abuse" looks like). Sorry my man.

do any mut.gg admins have any connections with EA? as i swear they didn’t do an investigation. if a real person just took a look they’d see i never got my coins illegally. it was all earned by top 1000 players, winning multiple darren wallers and isacc bruces and completing field passes
