House rule takes too long?

It's sweaty and not an authentic football experience, but it's not leaning into the MUT mechanics so as to make an opposing offense unplayable if it doesn't have a starting offensive lineup made up almost exclusively of late-October players.

I have a team with 80% free players or players from rewards. You do not need the best player at every position to compete. If you are complaining about the meta gameplay, that’s on you and you need to know how to beat it. Most people that run that bs are trash to begin with and you can out think them almost every time due to the fact that they are running schemes that they don’t even understand they just see it on YouTube

It's not their users that are giving me fits. It's the schemes. With a handful of scripted inputs and a scant few adjustments, it's pretty hard to gain more than a few yards.

I have a day job. What about you?

Right, I run a half decent scheme but my team is 87/88 OVR and Rome Odunze is still my WR2. It's the mechanics of the game you gotta worry about not the player ratings. The gap is only huge at the beginning of the year when I'm rolling out gold players vs someone 85 OVR lineup. The OVR gap closes after our first 3-4 promos

I'm guessing he saw someone run DBL Safety go, pre patch it was good, but now a fast TE running a streak runs right by the safety.

I own my own landscapes business. It’s nice to know that you have a day job. Thats super important to me, what you do for a living and the fact that you work means everything while playing the game of madden. I’m glad you let me know that you have a day job. I’m proud of you. 🤣
