House Rules Question

So I been playing house rules and have 32 wins so far but now all of the sudden the games have been weirdly continuing on. So last five games I played I scored a TD on my first drive and then I had to go for the two point conversion. I thought it was an automatic win in the first ten play. Does that change after 30 wins or something? One of the games I scored opening drive got the two points and my opponent threw a pick that I ran back for another TD and the game was still going after that. One game lasted over an hour and that's not a joke and I quit out because it was just stupid I felt. So I am confused by this.   I am on PS4

It's a broken mode that should be avoided.

It’s happening to me about every 5th game and has been since it started
