Sorry for the unordered poll options, mutgg doesn't seem to want to sort them nicely :(
First thing first, I am not trying to suggest that being more ability-efficient is in any way a measurement of how good your team is or how good of a team builder you are, I am purely curious what it is for different people after rehashing some of my abilities and valuing/prioritizing guys who are always on the field for me.
So obviously with a limit of 11 AP and 3 XFactors, there are a finite number of abilities to go around on each side of the ball, I'm wondering how much everyone takes advantage of them, and figured the least subjective way to ask about it is with math (very imperfect math):
Basically, the efficiency is a measure of how much each AP point and XFactor is on the field, where AP is a 1:1 ratio and XFactors are a 1:2 Ratio, divided by the maximum possible potential (15 On offense, 17 on defense).
For instance, on Offense, 8/9 of my AP are always on the field, as are all three of my XFactors, my 9th AP point is my WR2 and on the field probably 80% of the time, so my offensive ability-efficiency is 8 + 6 + .8 / 15 = 14.8/15 = 99%, I'm almost always taking advantage of all the AP and XFactors I have available on offense at any given moment.
On Defense, only 7/11 of my AP are always on the field, as are all three XFactors, of my other 4AP, they are on the field roughly 70%, 60%, 50%, and 0% (lets not talk about it :( ) respectively, so my defensive ability-efficiency is 7 + 6 + .7 + .6 + .5 + 0 / 17 = 14.8/17 = 87%, I'm generally taking advantage of the majority of the AP and XFactors I have available at any given time on defense.
