How do Golden Tickets work?

It's my first year to MUT and I see lots of excitement for GTs. How do they work?

As I understand, GTs are released into packs, and users who pull them get to use them on an existing card to boost stats and abilities.

Does the user choose which ability gets boosted? Do they get to choose XFactors granted? If so, how? Some card editing interface? Or does EA choose the ability/XFactors?

And once the card is created, does it just become available in packs? Are there sets for the cards?

In previous years it’s worked where ea sends u a form to make ur gt and u get to pick the abilities and what stats u want to boost (excluding spd and maybe another stat category)last year we didn’t have xfactors for the gts so that wasn’t an option maybe this year they change that but who knows

Golden Tickes are some of the last cards in the game. Sometimes they let NFL players make the cards, but how it usually works is very few people pull a golden ticket and they get to choose one card already in the game and turn it into a 99 ovr. Now these cards have insane stats and abilities, because they are only released at the end. They aren’t LTD, but can‘t be made from a set, usually in packs.

In madden 22 they also let NFL players make them so they may bring that back.

Thank yall! So the GTs are released and pulled, forms are sent to craft the card, then after forms are submitted cards are released X number of weeks later as the final drops of the year? Makes sense that there would be some delay between form being submitted and the card being updated in the game.

Did that in m23 cool thing but sometimes they don’t make the best cards

yeah, and like some promos, new ones get released every week, but they give you the list of all of them before any get released
