How do I play MUT again and avoid getting banned?

I started playing MUT on 04/01 and got banned permanently on 04/03 from all Madden titles. EA said in the email I was involved in match cheating which I obviously didn't and couldn't do. I only played a few house rules and the rest were solos.

I was completely clueless back then and thought the ban was false and would be lifted for sure and made a dispute right away. As EA stated it could take up to 30 days for them to get back to me so I started playing again on my alt and didn't play any online matches this time. But I received the same email and got banned again after another 2 days.

Then I looked it up and tried to figure out what the actual cause was because it apparently had nothing to do with match cheating. And I was sure I didn't do anything against EA's ToS. But some youtubers mentioned that people got banned for buying or selling cards at irregular price. I thought that might be it. I didn't sell any cards but I did spend some time sitting in the auction house and sniping cards and got some really good deals on both accounts.

I started playing once again on my 2nd alt but stayed away from online matches and auction house. Meanwhile I also started the game on my 3rd and 4th alt accounts but only did dailies as an experiment. Yeah I know I was stupid and you probably guessed all 3 accounts were banned for match cheating once again at exactly the same time after another 2 days. And it was not over yet. EA sent a different email to my 1st alt after yet another 2 days and console banned me from Madden 23 permanently saying that I had multiple accounts that broke their rules. That was 04/11.

Then I had to dig deeper because it was certainly not about match cheating or sniping. A youtuber said he got his main account banned along with other 14 alt accounts because using farm accounts was not allowed. And EA does say Having multiple accounts and funneling MUT Coins and Items to your main account breaks our rules, too in an article titled Play by the rules in EA SPORTS Madden NFL Football.

I do have multiple accounts but I've never had the intention of transferring coins or cards between them. They're completely independent instead of farm accounts and I started playing on my alt only because and after EA banned my main. Unless having multiple accounts itself is already a violation of ToS but I honestly don't see that in User Agreement. If I did farm and distribute coins or cards between accounts then I would've accepted being banned because I deserved it. But the fact is that I've never done such things and I've never even used trade block or sold a card to myself. Just banning me for having multiple accounts and having the opportunity or ability to use them as farm accounts but I haven't is not acceptable.

On 04/20 and 04/21, EA sent 2 identical emails respectively to my 2nd alt and banned the same console again permanently from Madden 23. Still on 04/21 but a few hours later, EA finally emailed me with the result of the dispute of my main account and the ban was not being lifted. I believe it'd be the same for all my alt accounts even though I only raised dispute on some of them and on the rest of them, I couldn't successfully submit cases because there was something wrong with their site which wouldn't let me do so. I didn't know people could get banned from creating cases or it was just a technical issue.

I must be the biggest fool because after what EA's done to me, I still want to play this game. So under the circumstances, how do I play MUT again without getting banned? And is there any chance that EA'd unban my accounts and my triple banned console or at least unban my main account and console so that I can continue to play the game?

I'm a trophy hunter on Playstation and having multiple accounts is quite normal in this community and it's not against any rules. Besides I don't see that's not allowed by EA either unless someone uses them to distribute stuff. And if you know something I don't, please do share which would be much appreciated. Anyway thanks for the reply.

You don’t just randomly get banned by EA, you must have done something to trigger the ban. You either 1) transferred cards between accounts 2) sold/bought cards at well over the median price (super low snipes are fine,) 3) kept killing the wifi to lose connection to glitch wins in H2H. Those are the usual suspects. Their bot is probably picking up that you’re on the same IP address so doesnt matter how many different alt accounts you try.

This was my point. Anyone with multiple accounts must increase their chance of getting in trouble with the TOS and once you're banned on one of them, the software will see you've switched to another one and ban that too. I'll admit to being green as grass when it comes to Alt Accs but, c'mon, "Trophy Hunter"?? Really? Why do you need multiple accounts for that? They're not called Farm Accounts for no reason man.

The problem is I didn't do any of those which is why it bugs me the most. My conclusion is having multiple accounts is already against the rules even though EA doesn't say it clearly. And I think all my alt accounts were already flagged long before I started playing MUT and EA starts banning them once they're active in MUT for about 2 days.

I totally agree with you on the last thing you said and that's why I made this post lol. Even if I switched platforms and made new accounts, EA'd eventually link them to my previous ones and ban them again. So is there a solution at all?

The problem is, there’s nothing wrong with having an alt account. A lot of content creators have their normal one and then maybe a NMS account. As long as you’re not farming between them you’re fine. I honestly have never heard of anyone being banned for “doing nothing wrong.”

I agree with your logic of one ban leading to another. But my main didn't do anything wrong at all if super low snipes are fine. That's why I have to assume that having multiple accounts is not okay with EA especially in MUT.

Well let me try to explain why trophy hunters need multiple accounts lol. If you're on xbox, you can basically buy digital games wherever you want simply by switching your account to a different country or region, especially where a game is a lot cheaper. 

But on playstation, you have to create another account in order to do the same thing. Like if your main is a US account, you'll need a UK account to buy digital games in the UK store.

Here comes the most confusing part. There could be separated trophy lists for a same game like a US set of trophies, a UK set, a JP set, an Asian one... If you're a trophy hunter, you'll want to earn all of them and you'll need accounts in respective country or region to at least buy the game digitally. I know it sounds super dumb lol.

Anyway, like another guy said, its pretty hard to get banned for "doing nothing wrong". Tough break if it's true I guess.

I know most content creators have multiple accounts as I follow them and they kinda promote that in their videos. Some youtubers, I don't wanna say names, even promote farm accounts in their videos but never got banned.

I don't wanna say why I got banned but they didn't. Because it happens very often in this world that some people get caught but some don't doing exactly the same things. 

I truly didn't do anything wrong on any of my accounts. Every time I just played solos and built my team from 68 ovr to 90 or 91 ovr then I got banned. And I don't think I can lie about these things because everything I did would be recorded in EA's database to use against me if I actually did break any rules. I never used trade block which is probably the 1st place people wanna go if they're farming right? I also didn't do much in auction house. And honestly two days wouldn't be enough time for me to cheat or do something funny besides I'm still a rookie for gods sake lol.

Some youtubers mentioned that EA had some kinda auto ban system which could misjudge your behavior and people do get wrongfully banned sometimes. I read about someone got banned and claimed that they never played MUT and there're other cases.

I didn't know having multiple accounts could get me in trouble either. Otherwise I wouldn't have played MUT on other accounts and got them banned as well. EA only allows you to create up to 5 MUT teams on a single console. So I at least need a new console to play MUT again if EA won't unban me.

It's unfortunate, but you're not likely to receive help. I pushed the issue with the lockout glitch after Christmas for about a month before they did anything. Thankfully my MUT game mode started working after a while, but I never received the makeright, which I had to push for another month at EA help. I still never received the makeright, even though I'm fairly certain my mention of "missing ltd time slots" influenced the contents of that makeright.

So there are two things here:

1. Alt/multiple game accounts are fine as long as you're not transferring content or coins between them

2. However, once your main is banned, any other accounts that are found are seen as being used to ban evade, and are going to be banned, regardless of what you did or didn't do on them.

You need to focus on your initial ban, and what it was for. Regardless of whether you realize it or not, you did something to trigger the ban.  That's where I would focus.

And to answer your original question of how to keep playing, you can google that. It can't be discussed here as anything you do at this point is going to be considered ban evasion. And if you're truly console banned, you're going to be stuck.

I was AH banned in November for a reason that EA never explained. I could still play the game but not trade or buy/sell cards. I filed several reports with EA help but never had the issue explained or resolved. It could have been that I would find snipes on the AH and then immediately repost at the true market price. Anyway, I finally gave up and started a new account -- lost 3 months of progress. I haven't had any problems since then, but it is frustrating not to get any response or explanation from them.
