How do you stop Gun-Tight formation?

This man is right. You need to pick a direction to shade based on passing tendencies and cover the inside of the field if you shade out. If you shade in, best be playing 2 deep safies as corners will destroy you. If you bring your two safties down in deep halfs they play corners fairly well. If you dont have a team up-to-par to play man across the board I highly recommend cover 3 match, set your curl flats (purple) to 20-25 yards and make them go under again and again. Most people are not patient enough to do this. Then every once in awhile mix in a hard flat and try for a turnover on a bad read.

Bench TORCHES man coverage, short on gets so much separatio. Not viable imo.

Any man defense with your user being a 90+ safety. If they’re getting 15-20 a play that’s a problem, but let them dink and dump and eventually throw a pick. Just make sure you throw those points on the board and live with them getting yards

I don't think there is one particular way, they all will take adjustments to stock defenses to combat. I play a lot of cover 3 shell with quite a bit of match thrown in there. With the way aggs are that seems to be the fall back when taking routes away so running zone has helped me combat that tactic while still (hopefully) making people think past a single read (and a lot of times a second read). "Bend but don't break" defense seems like the key this year, especially against good players with good schemes, can't expect to play half brain dead and pick man every play without adjustments and expect to beat better players (not saying you are, but this seems to be a decent chunk of players currently).

Huh? Nor sure what you're talking about. There are 2 zones in cover 1 hole and I user one of them.  There's no base shading in man coverage but you can add it thru coaching adjustments or with abilities. 

I'm assuming your post is LOL at my adjustment suggestions? This strategy is one I got directly from a Madden pro to stop that combi, out/corner.......Came from  Literally someone who plays the game for a living, not just a guy who sells ebooks
