Look at it now, you can get every card in the game minus maybe 10 for less than 600k. Again, why do you care if you can't make as many coins if you can get any player you want for cheaper? For the record also, it's insanely easy to make coins right now. I've made a million just today because people don't understand the market.

That's not the smart move for them though. They drop 2-3 offers a week that give you a shot at an LTD, and as long as there's no TVP, I'm sure they make a LOT of money off of those.
If everything is minimum it will be very hard to make coins. For example, if you wanted to do a 95 Super Bowl set you would need 5 92s with a minimum of 26k to build a card that will get you 90k. Without everything at medium it is very easy to make coins, just like you said (I made over 1 mil and got all my Eggstravagent eggs in a day), but if everything is minimum it will be very hard to make coins ( but still not impossible)

Basically everything is at minimum outside of LTD's already though. That's what makes it easy to make coins. I've made a million just today off of buying Aaron Donald at less than 1.2m and selling when he rises back to 1.6m.

I was talking about making coins about sets, sorry if you and I misunderstood each other. There will always be other easy ways to make coins but if everything is minimum its really hard to make coins off sets

100% correct. But if they want people to still play the game and buy those packs they’re gonna have to get rid of the floor or do something to increase card value like the TVP would.

That's the thing though, the people that would be leaving are the same people already not buying the special offers. There's no loss for them there. I do think we'll see a TVP, but not until next season at the earliest.

Ahhhhh I see. That makes more sense. Yeah if this keeps up, sets are cooked for the rest of the year no doubt about it. If Ring of Honor is the same as it was last year with the 98 BND from the champion sets, that should really help the market and set value. People will have an incentive to do the sets and prices for those should come back up a little. If they added the TVP back that would help too.

I 100% agree with you and it’s sad to see the game has completely went in the direction towards money building your team and further away from NMS players .
This is a game at the end of the day and they treat the community like a business. The NFL has a lot of kids watching their favorite players now factor that theory on a console , you then have a large percent of teenagers and young adults playing MUT and most of them do not have the money that is offered on a weekly basis in the marketplace.
I also want to add that with the cards that are ranging between 90 to 93 those are mostly for NMS players to rely on on building their team and if they have to wait for a day or more to get coins on return, I don’t think they’ll survive and that’s not fair to them. I also think that it’s not right for them to have a control over the market. If the market crashes, then the market crashes , yet there controlling that and I don’t even know if that’s legal being there’s money involved. I had a card up for 66,000 at its cap lowest price after a day it returned to my binder I had to wait another day to see if it sells.
MUT is done and EA has pretty much said screw us all. Controlling the AH, horrible pack and reroll odds, horrible rewards, no bnd cards back from sets. It's strictly a money making game mode. It was always a money thing but they are done hiding it now. They are giving offers with a 33% chance of pulling a LTD. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know, idk what will.

They aren’t starting with ring of honor to start giving back bnds from doing sets unfortunately. EA killed that off and i doubt we ever see it again in game.

Its wild that people that spend on packs cant even sell their cards because of the minimum price control.
They got for $20 buying those cheap single card 90,91,92,93 packs that I see when i buy the 1 coin and 500 coin pack. It's a slippery slope and i'm starting to wonder what i got around the house that is of any value to resale because my team is getting good. But then i have to deal with chocolate not being enough to get the top tier rewards and so where do i find more chocolate since i cant win at the House Rules. I'm one of the many who flooded in when the game came available on Xbox Game Pass. I bet pack sales skyrocketed as new players who were behind in their card collection came in and got destroyed in H2H.
But House Rules and H2H remind me why I should avoid the $150, $100 packs. Well actually I'm probably just a person who dreams about petty cash winfalls... saving 0.02 /gal on gas, BOGO bread, finding a $1 on the ground... so also realize he socioeconomic segregation and peer motivators that EA utilizes in the card shop... i think. I guess thats the right way to label my thinking of 'lol, who the heck is going to spend $150 on a card pack knowing it's going to be even more worthless when Madden 25 is released in a few months." it it is probably still a better $/hour of entertainment spending than an evening at the Gentleman's Club or a day at Disneyworld. All of which are too rich for me and must be meant for the children of doctors or upper level corporate managers. Or those hooked by the purchase pleasure principle... a term i invented but haven't yet wrote a scientific phycological doctoral essay about yet. Its based on an idea i got while watching an old dave chappell show. I also learned from my 30 straight h2h losses on EA Soccer 24, that someone's team is always gonna be better, so the fun is either playing the CPU at settings that lead to a 45-0 win like i did earlier today. They announcers, especially that sneering one, say all the nicest things.... so nice and ego stroking... and much nicer than when he says maybe i need to lower the difficulty. And if must do H2H, and its like 90% of the games where I'm unable to make yards on offense, then I'm going to lose. Might as well make it look like i'm giving up a freebie.. run the wrong way, throw interceptions, 30yard sacks, blitz everyone up the middle for consecutive plays, but don't quit out and try to get out of bounds as often as possible, and use all time out. Anyways, i just wanted to share, cause it looked like you'all needed a hug.
OH and EA soccer has a much better market. So does The Show. List much more and relist is easy or not needed. The markets all crash to zero quickly though. No reason to buy one card over another except by lowest price. Cards that sell at max are the coin sellers.
