How is your MUT season coming along?

Ive enjoyed the game so far. I have a 80ovr team with about 500k. Luckily i pulled that KC wr with 86spd and sold him for 90k when I had the trial and I still have a 84 platinum player to qs. I like the S1 tickets set up and both CMC and Ward are beasts at 85ovr.

Solo battles showing all games at once and giving out rewards as soon as you reach that tier is nice,even though the rewards could be better. Solo seasons seems fine. I'm currently at 14 wins for the easier solo seasons mode and haven't tried the ultimate solo seasons mode yet. I havent played online yet. My best pulls have been KC Kicker who I sold for 70k,Parham and the 84 platinum player that's a Punter of course. So far I'm on course for another good MUT year.

No remarkable pulls here. I’ve completed all but the last set of Forge challenges, and I’ve completed everything else. Close to reaching 20/20 49ers on a really tight budget.

I’m queued for game nine in the Ultimate Solo Seasons. I should have lost both seven and eight. Going against tough rosters with a 78 OVR team, I feel like I’m spitting out teeth after each game.

My only Champs attempt was a gross mismatch in my opponent’s favor, and a total NPE.

Not happy with the pre-snap adjustments window being shorter than ever. Still trying to figure out how to make defense play well outside of the red zone.

I got lucky and got platinum CMC from a pack and platinum Chris Jones, cant remember what packs. I've maxed out Jabrill, Ray Lewis and almost done maxing out Hines Ward. I got Kam and Josh Allen from the glitch (was going to buy Kam regardless, since im a hawks fan), but Allen was a nice bonus. Have around 800K sitting in the bank, but trading seems tedious so ill stay away for now.

I think im understanding gameplay, i pick a few defensive plays I like and stick to those. I like experimenting on offense, but not really a very meta, know all the cheese type player, i think its more fun playing the game normally. I do parttake in Chew Clock cheese tho.

Ranked H2H is pretty fun, MUT Champs is BS, and the Gauntlet is god awful.

I need to try Solo Battles and Solo Seasons, probably a lot more relaxing than H2H.

I run a 9ers TT every year. I like how they did TT's this year and some of those 9er backup players are worth a small fortune and a great way to make some coins reselling them. I really hope they don't LTD all the good 49ers this year

im liking the gameplay so far. facing non stop insane money teams is very annoying but im holding my own with my 80 overall team. being able to play all the solo battles at once is awesome because I dont have to keep up with them every singel day anymore. the rewards need to be better though 100%. ive been doing a little bit of solo seasons but it doesnt really seem worth it to me. good way to grind stats/objectives though, kind of like solo battles. I hate the gatekeeping of xp though but it is what it is.

Ive been getting crazy pulls from packs i bought. (Spent 100$)

Did the launch phase 1 pack twice and pulled antonio c both times.

Sitting at 81 overall with 600 K in coins and still have 1600 points from pre order. I got lucky with the first UP 2700 pack and got LTD Douglas. I sold him for over 600 K after he left packs. I pulled a BND Kam from my first BOOM token pack from the FP. I have CMC maxed out and Crosby at 84. Bears TT at 20/20. I am still missing my last UA 80 player.

Been away for a few years and the nostalgic luster of how fun I remember it being has already worn off. I remember launch content being heavy enough up front and consistent enough after that it took me a couple weeks to “catch up” AND it would give you some decent cards.

This year early content (at least the stuff they actually gave us) was knocked out in a few days, rewards are slim, and most freebies are too low/BND’s. Getting vibes that the transition is very much from pay to win closer and closer to pay to play. Gameplay isn’t much better. Maybe it’ll change once there’s more defenders hitting thresholds but coverage/reaction/tackling are atrocious. Hit sticks feel like wet cardboard and everything else feels even worse. The amount of times my defenders runs into a ball carrier like their arms don’t work and dramatically rolls off is almost hilarious if it wasn’t so frustrating. Ball carrier moves are only really useful open field one on one otherwise they slow you down so much another defender cleans you up. It’s both the best looking (graphics) and worst looking (animations/gameplay) Madden I’ve played.

Do you think we will see improvements once we surpass 80 OVR & 85 OVR?

I am hoping we see improvements on defense as we obtain a better team if some of the old thresholds are still in place....

This is fascinating stuff. So do you think that EA left these thresholds and calculations untouched between MUT 24 and MUT 25, and with the reduced OVR’s to start out the year, the available defenders are just too weak and dumb to do anything effectively?

enjoying it, havent even been on cfb since. currently at an 84 ovr with 3m. running 20/20 pats/jets. havent touched solo seasons mostly h2h, ranked and gauntlet. Havent tried out mut champs yet

Yeah, Awareness also matters....

85 AWR will enable enhanced targeting mechanic at 25% chance (chance scales to 100% @ 99).

Offensive lineman with 84 AWR only see a slight increase in traditional blocking logic going up to 85 AWR.

In Madden, rating thresholds are used to gate certain animations and mechanics. These thresholds establish certain rating ranges that affect how players perform in specific aspects of the game.

I have no idea what EA actually did. We will be able to notice more as we play more and get better players. But even noticing these things becomes difficult as players get better because EA throws out curve balls by adding X-Factors and Special Added Abilities. And as many people on here have taught me, these X-Factors and Special Added Abilities Trump OVR rating numbers.
