Bro, I really don't think he's  nearly as dominant as that ED card, not even close IMO. But he does break the first tackle. I've been running with him and using Jensen at C ....and I still have 40/40 legends. 

With Dickerson, every run was a potential TD and half the time he'd break one. That's not Quadfather. This card will take 12-18 attempts to get all the way down the field unless you are playing someone awful who pass commits

My HBs are great (Dickerson and Byars), but this guy looks like fun. Even if they nerf him, he's a great power back to run with Byars. Hope he works out.

This was my experience with Quadfather and playing against him as well.

Before I used him and played against him, I just assumed (like everyone else) this was Madden 20 Eric Dickerson all over again. But that was definitely not it. Dillon is a great card and is definitely no slouch, but he's not nearly as dominate as that ED card was. ED in Madden 20 would break damn near every tackle attempt, not just the first one. You also have the fact that Madden 20's meta was running the ball (still remember that guy winning the Madden Bowl while only running the ball and having a punter at QB) so a game that already favored the run game getting a card that is absolutely dominate in the run game was a recipe for disaster.

With Dillon, he will get through the first tackle unless he gets hit by a Secure Tackler/Enforcer or whatever (same with ED in Madden 20) but he doesn't seem to keep going like DIckerson did. Taking him down for a loss to end the Xfactor is difficult for sure, but as you said, he's very unlikely to break 80 yard TD runs like Dickerson would on a regular basis.

Absolutely. This card is like any other card with that X factor activated. Still a great card but it is not one of the best madden cards ever. That ED card is THE best Madden card of all time.....from inception of Madden Football in 1988 (and yes, I played that one also. Have played every one since inception- I am that old LOL).

I can stop Dillon running nickel. I have a few crushers and secure tacklers.....even so I get a couple guys in the backfield so even when he broke the first tackle I had him behind the line.

I knocked that card out of the zone everytime I played him on the first drive except one time but there were some passes mixed in on that drive also. You couldn't stop Dickerson no matter how good you were on the sticks or what scheme you ran.

That was a fun one. I keep debating whether or not to pick them up but may wait for nerfs/price drops.

Considering so many other things are currently overpowered.  Dollar for example, I’d be willing to guess it’ll be a while

After reviewing some old clips, I believe you are correct.  It was usually break one tackle and then take it to the house with DIckerson.  I also think running in 20 was way easier than in 23 so hard to compare.  But DIckerson was definetly more explosive.  I ripped off some long ones with Quadfather, but broken tackles really slow the runners down in MUT 23 and often he gets gang tackled after breaking one or two tackles.

I agree that Dillon isn't M20 Dickerson, but he's the closest thing we've had to it. Run blocking was much better in M20 than in M23 and I definitely agree that broken tackles slow you down more this year than in M20. You basically slide off the defender at full speed (slight exaggeration) in M20, which is another reason Dickerson was so powerful.

Card is too op.... time to nerf Genji

I don’t know if they will nerf it. It’s not that different from Bo Knows X factor last year although that was 4AP instead.

I love using this card but it’s not unstoppable. Once everyone gets Ed Reed with Film Study they’re going to run commit and deactivate it pretty quick.

I hope they dont. He is fun to use and hes not that hard to stop. People try to overuse him
