Yes, get them early n focus more on 1st downs in the last 2 min of the 1st half.
400 pass n 200 rush with 30 1st downs along with the rest will get u top 25 n get u that 90+ player atm.
punt safe man method ?? so much cheese needed .its no wonder my scores always a few k short of top 100 ..stopping their 3 yd passes r a bitch too ..i can win 56 -0 and not score 24000 k a match ..too much bs to get good rewards..smh,,EA is trash

ive never had 20 first downs ..usually around 7,8. lol....seems impossible without using some glitch on defense,???,how do you stop baby d passing ???
7-8 is too low of course. Try to get 20 at least. Although I never check my first downs count in-game, I just aim for 30+ completions. A habit from MUT21 - there was a weird bug: every time I checked my stats in-game, I got a DNF after that game.
Always onside kick - that'll help you to have a longer field. Do not return the ball too far on kickoffs and run backwards on punt returns and INTs. Return yards don't bring extra points. As for return TDs - I'm not sure: in some of the previous Maddens they did bring extra points, in others they didn't.
I don't know what's baby d passing. Punt safe glitch works like a charm for me (old gen), except for like 10 seconds before any quarter end and the entire 4th quarter. If it doesn't - sometimes the CPU glitches out - take a timeout, it may help. Some say punt safe also don't work in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half - that's 100% not true. Maybe you cover the receiver too tight, so the CPU starts looking for other options. If he starts scrambling press the right stick.
If the receiver is 1 yard behind LOS I position my CB a little bit to the left (I don't know, like 2 fingers away maybe) and just a couple of yards deep (not deeper or the CPU won't throw it my way), but if he's right on LOS, then I go back a couple extra yards or I'll be instantly burnt with a streak.
Don't go for big gains. Except for rushing yards - they don't come as easy as the passing ones. If I have a big catch, I run backwards trying not to get too many yards :) Try going out of bounds as often as you can, and don't start the next play until the play clock hits 20. It helps to save time for more completions, first downs etc. Also, when I get out of bounds I make a juke or a spin - somebody told me a while ago that ball carrier moves count. I don't know if it's true, but it certainly can't hurt:
On offense I run Levels 90% of the time, sometimes streaking my inside WR (beats Cover 3 Buzz, Cover 3 Lock, all kinds of Cover 2 - so I have to run backwards for a while and still get 20+ yards): RB is on a table route which is good for getting short first downs and going out of bounds immediately, TE is on a corner route = 20+ gains but also fast out of bounds. Against man defense I double team the leftmost rusher and scramble with my escape artist Montana. This is my certified method (patent pending) of getting 300 rushing yards per game. Against 245 double A gap = inside zone brings really big gains.
On defense negative yardage is the most important thing. I don't know about 5 sacks, user tackles and stuff; I know that if I'm having a perfect game with all interceptions (0 passing yards allowed) + a kickoff on the last seconds of the 1st half, giving the CPU a chance to kneel for -1 rushing = I will simply chew clock in the 4th, getting several extra completions and first downs, and not risking on defense. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe that's the reason I've never finished #1 - I often finished 2nd or 3rd, 2-4k behind the leader. But more likely that's because I often allow a lot of yards. By the way, I heard that conceding a 1 play TD is preferable than allowing multiple completions and first downs.

come out in punt 44 even, user your rightmost CB (that's your CB2, btw)
wait until the CPU audibles, then audible to punt safe man, and try to bait an INT
Was this patched on next gen? And if so, is there any other way?
this whole time i’ve been 1-play bombing with randy moss 😭😭
I’ve tried and it’s almost impossible. There’s at least 1000 people in the world who literally sweat out every point of every game and it becomes not fun at that point. I just gave up and i make sure I get legend. I don’t have the time to grind to that degree just for an extra 500 pts. Better off just spending 20 bucks. Lol
one time I finished all 13 games and I was in 40 place on Sunday @ 5pm. By 10pm I was knocked out of the top 100. Way too sweaty for me.

whats the punt safe man method?
It just seems like way too much of a hassle to me. My team is only 84 Overall, and I don't want to risk spending upwards of 30 minutes per SB, with the possibility of losing and having it all be for nothing, so I prefer just sticking to the lower difficulties to get guaranteed wins.
