how to stop motion y post?

also why is it that everyone and there brother is running this play nonstop... really makes me scratch my head do people REALLY sit here and play the same play over and over? how is that fun? gotta be the first time in history twi people log in and soend time to both not have fun

lol this is the must fun play in madden in years

there are 3 routes in 1 play you hardly ever see, a motion streak if anyone decides to play press man, and perfect spacing so you can make route combos to beat any coverage

if someone is calling the same play and not changing it thats dumb, but most good people using this are changing it up every play

Willie does a pretty good job in defending it. Once they hike the ball, run straight to the zig route or switch stick to guard the TE post route.

Yeah it's so fun running a slant/seam streak and a post every play and it being unstoppable.

i mean that is a good combo but easy to stop with a good switch stick, i prefer to be more unpredictable lol

There’s at least 4 total OP route combos from this play. Simple answer is just to prepare to cover the post and then switch stick to the return route. Get the AI to cover the rest. I read Hb flat, post, return, in that order when I use it. If they are making adjustments to it though good luck. 
 

do your best to limit explosive plays and lock up in the redzone. Most people cant consistently sustain 6+ play drives without forcing the post or motion streak. defense sucks this year

If EA fixed the exploits like they fix issues with packs, the cheeses wouldn’t be able to exploit the game.

The switch stick is there to get out of programming AI that functions the way football players do on the field.

It's cumbersome. I get it that some people have been able to pick up the switch stick. It doesn't change the fact that trying to play defense against cheesy players using cheesy plays like this one is like trying to change the dirty diapers of ten infants: I have to clean up everyone else's mess.

How about defenders just covering motion as they should, and reacting to the same dumb routes ad nauseum as if they had seen it before. Because they have: Eight times in the same game.

I think what he is talking about, is when the offensive player goes in motion and your in man, the defender will stop following the person in motion and leave them wide open, in that case you have to switch to the person guarding the motion player and take them all the way over were the offense player ends up at.
