He's not the best but he is mandatory based purely on his momentum shift.

Yeah for sure. It kinda makes him the best as a result tho~
Just needed to clarify as evidence for someone arguing with me.

Who do you think is better lol
As a pure pass rusher, he’s not the best unless you boost him with TT/TTas
Mario W is up there as well
best pass rusher in game i think is derrick thomas ul or oweh with rs uf and callosal
but hutch is mandatory as said due to momentum shift

Mario Williams, without question. He's got Colossus/RunStuffer/Tackle Supreme/Avalanche and you can throw an XF Unstoppable Force on him.
Julius Peppers, Whitney Mercilus, Aaron Donald Tribute all play better as DE for me the built in UF makes people play like monsters and AD just always plays that good for me with ETE and No Outsiders.

What's the difference with his momentum shift vs donald and fridges?

Starts on with a short charge cycle
He’s not the best in terms of pass rush but he is the number one player at his position because of momentum shift.
I just went up against a guy that had Persistent on Hutchinson. While he wasn't good enough to stick around through an allowed touchdown, a sack, and a pick returned to his 30, he did the very thing with Hutch that I was concerned about. It's not really possible to count on most X-factors at all.
I don't understand why EA thought 0 AP automatic Momentum Shift was a good idea. It's terrible for the game. (Now if it only canceled automatic Omaha, I'd be fine with that.)

I don’t know what you mean by “automatic” but Hutch’s Momentum Shift does cancel out Omaha.
There is not a player that gets Omaha as a passive ability that I know of.

“Automatic“ meaning unearned, like all X-Factors started out at the beginning of the year. And, yes, I know that it cancels Omaha. What I meant was that I wished it canceled only Omaha. Then I would be fine with it.

Ok thanks for clarifying, I definitely heard that differently when I read your post.
