First EA is trying to control the market with the restrictions on this event, next they're going to go for a money grab
There's no way EA wants us to only have 4 high end cards in our lineups , that just reduces pack purchases.... they're going for the money grab once the event is in full swing

Probably. Might even see some snowflake packs tomorrow with the drop but i'm over it. All i want to do is pull a ltd present and then i don't care what happens. Promo looked cool at first but they fucked it up by not giving us rerolls and the players other than the LTDs aren't that good either. Few good players here and there but overall this promo has been weak like all the other ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if less people participated in the event. Even you said in another post that you refuse to rebuild your team another way for their special event. I'm sure a lot of people feel that way. A present bundle is definitely a guarantee, a snowflake bundle similar to platinum cards or something is definitely possible. like 8 82+ that sell for snowflakes or something

Agree with this. They've had it the past few years. No reason to think they won't this year, especially with the limited ability to get them this year.
Lol unless they stop people from subbing their best players in during the game, the event will be a complete joke. Why not just have an event where everyone plays with their best team? Sure you can enforce the 4 or so ZC players but why bother with this junk.
They keep doing it and people keep getting around the "rules" they lay out and then everyone gets mad. Why not make these events squad based, so it's at least sort of fun.

Yeah but why? Why even do this at all? All year long EA pushes in-game sales...Does EVERYTHING in their power to try to get people go after the shiny new cards ....
What I think with this event is that EA only wants the try hards , and minimal amount of people to get presents for free. So they made this event figuring that A) Most casuals won't bother , B) Only a select few will be able to really pile up snowflakes.
Then they will throw $$ offers out there which will enable and "motivate" the other 80% of people to "keep up" with the 20% or so that were able to earn fistfulls of snow from this event. It's more blatant manipulation than we have ever seen from EA and it's been like this all year

I agree 100% man. It's sad how predictable EA has become. I want to do this event but in a way i don't because i know what i'm in for and i think i should just get whatever presents i can without killing myself
