BND cards are so over used. Challenges should give you a hero or higher actionable player instead of BND garbage. Do you have a problem with BND's?
BNDs should at least be able to go into sets and we should get at least 1 card back from Master sets. This company is the cheapest company on Earth. Anything to nickel and dime their community
Obviously if Im building a TB Master for my team, I’d probably want the 86 for my tt back to use.
I don’t have a problem with BNDs, as long as we earned a champ level card from the program field passes. You only have to go back to last year for a BND champ to be the last reward. Or you had the option for an auction able hero+ pack.
I’m fine with BND I just wish they’d be a higher level guaranteed
Def lowered the ovr BND we get now because they want us to spend
I like the idea of BND's going into sets. Make it so.
I’m keeping all these BNDS for theme teams and they are starting to pile up.
We need a BND binder filter

They used to be called NAT’s and did exactly this.

You used to get them all back as NAT.

They used to have this before BNDs... they were called "NAT" cards... non-auctionable / non-tradable. Then EA realized people were using them to go into sets and they said... "nah man... no more of that... now they're account bound or B
Next we won't even be able to quicksell this trash and they'll just rot in your binder for the full year.
Some of the biggest reasons why EA makes most of our game modes “free” rewards/items/cards are third party coin sellers and farm accounts.
I’m not going to talk about coin selling because I never touch those conversations.
There was a time almost all players had farm accounts for the “free” rewards/items/cards. As well as some of the pay to play offers. There were level rewards good enough people use to start farm accounts and just sit and throw 90 yard TDs in a solo to level up the account and “transfer” the rewards to their main account. There are probably people who still do.
I am in no way advocating, condoning or suggesting anyone do this. You will most likely end up banned.
Those additional small purchases across numerous accounts use to help drive the economy. Without them things have changed a bit. Some have been replaced by other offer types. While some of the easiest coin methods we had years ago are no longer viable, mostly. New ways to make coins have opened up as a result though.
Money spent by users is measured in several ways by gaming companies. Average transaction value, Average revenue per user and customer lifetime value as a few examples. Reducing the return on investment we get from “free” rewards/items/cards over the years is deliberate and in no way exclusive to Madden, our game mode or EA.
Years ago Madden had a much higher user accusation cost. As our game has grown, as EA has grown they have continued to improve upon this. As a result they need less and less to entice users to not only spend but to get them to play.
Which brings up time metrics. The other currency. Some examples are total playtime, session length, retention rate, daily/weekly/monthly active users and concurrent users. Time metrics are particularly prone to manipulation by companies, like EA.
They offered us an 87 Derwin for watching the MCS. They didn’t do that for us. They wanted the data to say X people watched, Y more people watched, Z people watched this long. So they made the data say that.
Gaming companies are constantly competing for users time. We are paying EA in time/life to get those “Free” rewards/items/cards.
No offer in this world is actually “free.” Perhaps that’s a bit cynical of me. So I’ll say almost nothing is free.
Also, the economy is much easier to manage as a result of BND/NAT cards. That Derwin being BND/NAT allowed them to achieve their goal with little impact on the game mode.
They have engineered an environment where people are not only willing to buy BND/NAT items from the store for real money but also have some people convinced it’s a good deal. Great for EA in multiple ways.
As a final point there have been players in the community pushing for these BND/NAT cards for years, at least that is what EA seems to think people are asking for. It provides a way to get rewards/items/cards for “playing football.” Some of the community leaning that way, I feel, has some better ideas not only about how these items can be acquired/earned but also how to create a better environment for competitive play, casual play and the market.
Yeah they giving out to many. Now people are complaining about it lmao Its to slow down the farmers and too give the nms community a chance.
