So I honestly have to say Thank you EA Sports For the New Improved Madden game this year. If it wasn't for this years changes I would be spending a lot more hours and time in the game had it been like the previous two madden games but this time around I am only spending maybe 12-20 minutes a day in the game and not every day either.
I try to just run a solo battle game and get the field pass and comp pass upgraded some but not expecting to complete it has been a game changer and life saver. I am not the only one I have several friends who used t play this game for hours at a time but even they are just doing the bare minimum and a few play a solo game once or twice a week and they used to love H2H but not so much this year.
Leveling up has never been so easy either as Most of the passes I have are maxed out or half way through and I have not played any challenges since the UK promo. I missed out on the GG challenges and I maxed that pass out somehow which is fine by me less grind.
This year I can just run my favorite players without the upgrades and just chill. I see the candy corn and think unless it give you earl Christmas presents to be opened in December then to me it's not even worth it as those cards will be low ends by November 25th.
The free content is amazing and for NMS players like myself it's honestly a easy road so I can't complain on that or anything but the problem is and even talking with my friends and some gamers at a local game store have all said and feel the same way. Somehow the fun is just not in the game this year or the excitement like in previous years.
The market in the game this year has dropped a lot more than people realize but it's not going to hurt the company at all but get a chance check out some game stop locations and look at how many disc versions have been returned if people didn't buy the download version it is surprising to say the least.
Coins in this years game is crazy easy. I mean I have close to 3 million and not doing sets or sniping at all just selling what ever I get in my free packs and what I earn from what little I play and not a single new card has even got me remotely excited and I am still using the free team I got in the beginning of the year.
So my honest thoughts and takes on this game so far this year is it's somehow took out the fun and the excitement compared to the past couple of maddens. I have went back a played last years madden and find it more satisfying and enjoyable compared to this years version. Maybe it's just a me and my friends thing and hopefully everyone else is enjoying it a lot more.
