I have to share a painful mut champs story

So. It's my final mut champs game. I'm currently 24 wins over 2 weeks. So the next win will give me 22cp I've maxed my season games with 50 wins. And F solo battles. I'm exactly 22cp from the 50k coins and 93+ legend. High pressure but perfect. I'm down 4 in a good game 4th qtr money drive. I throw a redzone pick with 38 seconds left. 

However I have all 3 timeouts and my opp does 3 lazy lazy runs 

He punts to me with 22 seconds left. 

71 yard punt touchdown pure beauty might have been my first of the year in a competitive H2H. I couldn't believe it. There's now like 14 seconds and he's got 1 timeout. So instead of going prevent I go dollar cover 2 man backed off. I would of went orevent next play I just didn't want to give him free hail Mary range. 

He beats my db and splits my safeties with a post 40 yards downfield with Calvin and walks into the endzone with 3 of my defenders within inches and wins. :(

I then had to go do 2 very Shame filled solo battles for the 50k coins.

Probably my biggest clutch and my biggest sell in the same damn game lol. And ironically one with a higher level of "importance"

I’ve been there man, it’s such a great feeling and then such a big let down.

I also hate Solo Battles, rarely ever play them, so I understand.

if the comp pass is the main way players earn rewards in MUT 24 i am not playing it.  wasted so much time this year playing solo battles just to earn points towards the CP.  never want to play them again unless the rewards are worth it. super boring.

do not understand why they couldn't have h2h seasons pay more than 50 points total.

Damn bro r.I.p I was in a great h2h Super Bowl and with 30 seconds left I ran it in with flash on 3rd and goal down four and he returned it to the 40, completed a 20 yard corner route, did the same thing again and then ran a pa shot seams and won but it was a great game

The rewards in this years MUT have been absolutely terrible all around. I have zero intentions of buying another Madden game. I am planning on playing 23 until it stops being fun or I can’t find any matchups. After that I will respectfully retire my Madden life.

The rewards come quicker and easier from the various themes dropped during be seasons. (this season there has been backyard ballers, another one, and currently the the theme team stuff) 

I'm pretty sure you need the exp towards season inside the comp pass to eventually max your season level. 

@ level 21/30 you've gotten all of the exp rewards and the good player. That's fairly easy to do, even easier if your H2H win rate is high. It's the final 9 levels that are "grindy", again unless your win rate is high.

I don't buy the huge bundles, and rarely the 5850 (50$), but you essentially have to buy a 2800(25$) pack weekly, to upgrade your team properly and not be broke. I play 25$ an hour and work a solid job and Madden is currebtky a large chunk of my entertainment ect budget so this is a worthwhile purchase. I will say that some of the store offers and presented looking amazing and end up shit. If the recent fire one in stores rn was the wuakity level of typical offers I think tons would feel better about soebding additional money. 

My fire pack was complete dogshit compared to the handful of YouTubers I follow and recommend shorts I saw. Which is disappointing. 

Also the TVP during the day that pack came out was also dogshit. So I spent 25$ and the coins it gained me .. essentially didn't exsist within 24 hours. :( Lol

I had a Superbowl a few days back and I had a 1st&4th qtr fumble.

First one put me in an instant 7 point hole. 2nd crushed my comeback. Lol

Also cool you had a good game I do sometimes. But the majority of my games are easy wins or easy loses. I dk good games start to finish are rare.

That’s definitely true but the only reason I was in it was because I got toty mcaffrey to fumble for a fumble six but good games are definitely rare

Yeah maddens funny sometimes I can throw 3 picks and somehow win. But 1 fumble is almost a guaranteed L

I feel like EA implemented some sort of momentum thing (besides that bar on the top of the screen) that is affected by fumbles a lot more than picks secretly

Yeah instead of trading defensive stops and each player have one or more a game ect. A fumble instantly becomes the only one. Or it becomes the end of your ability to oeoduxe offensively haha. 

I'll give EA credit here I'm sure it's actually a really conpkex algorithm that determines the more random fumbles because they are pure RNG but impactful, and also needed for a football game.
