I just got 8 ROH 98's for free.

I'm not sure if this is already widely known or just obvious. This is just a strategy to get BNDS for basically free. (This depends on who you already have on your team and if they're auctionable.

I paid 1.6 million for 2 98's and put them into Deion 99 Set. I got back around 1.1 million from the auction after selling the 99. I kept the BNDS and auctioned off the players who got replaced. The reason this is a good strategy right now is that a 98 is basically an endgame card with chemistry boosts so they don't really need to be replaced. By selling off the ones who got replaced, I got back like 600k and then had 1.7 million. I repeated this strategy with ONLY Deion and Moss because they're the most expensive 99s and therefore sell more. I ended up with 1.3 mil (I had this before the I did the sets) and 8 98's that are BND. If you try it with Gonzalez it's more expensive and you end up with less because he sells for less.

Yeah.. you could also build the 96’s to 98s then put the 98s into the 99 set. By doing it this way… you’ll get 3 BND 96’s per 98 that you make and you can Quicksell them or fill out back Up roster spots with them. I quicksold mine and rolled them into TVP and made about 600k extra

This is bad advice. You're making a large portion of your team worthless with 98's that will be outdated in under a month.

The only overall left is 99. Chemistry boosts get 98s to 99s anyway.

Yes, but as we know that's not where the game makes better players this time of year. 

Reduced cost abilities, new abilities, X-factors, and stat increases to new thresholds are where the better players will be. 

You're essentially locking in your team at this point with no ability to generate any money going forward. If one of your 98 cards becomes sought after you can't do anything with it. 

Except for the players that are BND from reward packs for challenges my entire team can be sold. Heck, from my LTD cards alone I have over 6 million I can tap into if there's a must have card released in the future. 

I'm also a NMS person so I'm looking at it from that perspective. I don't buy packs when my money gets low.

Some of them sure look end game to me.

at the end of the day eight 98 bnds are still 460k training

please stop raining down on his parade for grinding for 98s  which will all still be viable for a good amount of time

I'm not trying to rain on his parade, I'm just trying to make a compelling case for others not to join the parade. 

Cards fluctuate in price all the time and to cancel that out isn't a good plan for the great majority of users. 

This is exactly what EA wants. To make your team worthless this late in the season so the only option you have is to buy packs.

is understand if he kept the set player, but he was basically adding bnds at a minimal costs, he’s still liquid in terms of what he basically started with for the most part 

theyre 98s if anything they move back in the depth chart

so you can say he got 460k in training at a minimal cost in the form of usable players

He sold off parts of his team to do it. 

If he just kept rolling with house money I'd say great. Instead, he took cards with value and replaced them with card without value.

That is true, but that is still 460k in training.

at the end of the day if OP is happy with his team It’s a good move

i see some of these cards being end game for a lot of teams tbh so imo
