I just renewed my Game Pass, and decided to go into a H2H game.
I matched up against a guy who had 96 overall Deion Sanders, Earl Campbell, and John Lynch in his top three.
For those who have seen my lineup, it's not a very good one.
And yet I managed to match this guy blow for blow in a game that went into overtime, but I would have won have my kicker not been 68 overall Cade York (smh). I am going to buy a new kicker ASAP.
My opponent scored immediately, running 59 yards on the first play for a TD.
Then it was my turn. I had very little success on the first three plays, and on 4th down I just decided to go for it. My opponent liked to move his corners down towards the line of scrimmage, so I ran PA Crossers and Amari Cooper was left wide open. This happened three times during the game, and all of them went for over 70 yards.
It was 29-21 in my favor in the 4th quarter, and my Jessie Bates had just intercepted the ball. I was driving into field goal range for the score that would likely end the game. It ended up being a 45-yard field goal. I had timed the power and accuracy perfectly. My kicker just wasn't good enough. My opponent got the ball back and scored in the final seconds to tie the game.
The game ended 29-29, about to go into OT. However, I have a screen time limit on my Xbox and it shut off immediately after my opponent had scored the game-tying two point conversion.
