Dang, i'm not sure i'm fully tracking the underlying issue here, but i feel your pain having to deal with EA no-Help.  Let's hope they can actually resolve your account issues, perhaps the one area where they may actually be able to do something useful.

Gosh, really hope you get that fixed and figured out.  At this point i'm creating dedicated email addresses for basically each and every new account i create.  I tend to be a bit hyper-anal about security and privacy, so i just assume anything i try to use in the modern era will somehow get leaked.  All of these email "aliases" (i guess that's the best or most appropriate term) forward back to a single account, my main Gmail.  I'll be extremely sad if/when I finally lose that access.  Had my same Gmail account since 2004, whenever it first dropped, perhaps even pre-release beta period, i cannot recall after literally two decades.  I'm an old fart.
