Im TIRED of keep getting cooked by RPO’s and people who know how to cook up 6-1
i might switch to a man blitz scheme for the first time in YEARS
any recommendations to somewhat stop RPO’s?

Dime defense, Hard Flat outside corner, Man up Slot corner on intended receiver, but 6-1 can be set up in a similar manner, assuming you don't blitz both outside LBs.

I might just start ending up DMing you because you know everything about this game lol

if you're running dollar, what I tend to do to stop RPO cheese is blitz the outside corners and put the slot corner and LB in a flat zone in case they're running a different play.

I am, im switching from 6-1 to dollar(shoutout peatrick)
ill just man up the corner across and just make a play with my user
looks be finally able to contain(I was using Bo on the line so I couldn’t contain)
hoping I don’t regret switching because other than RPO/stretch spamming, besides a game here and ther, it was lockdown for me.

You can pinch your D-line, however, if you're running Heavy Box Dollar (or Dime, etc.) there are some formations where it will revert the "heavy box" aspect of the defense i attempted to describe the other day, which means your Safeties go back to their default positioning, rather than being automagically walked down into the box. I know that you can pinch in Cover 4 Quarters (or Drop Contain, whatever it's called in Dollar), as well as DB Fire 2, however if you attempt to pinch from the Heavy Box variant of FS Zone Blitz, it messes everything up. Pressing coverage will also result in the same unwanted behavior.
my biggest issue is making all my pre snap adjustments before the ball is snapped so I'm usering the wrong player and throws off timing

If your gamer tag in patpeatrick? I played you and this did not work. Bo ran you up out of dollar and had no idea how to stop my rpo. Lol
I put whoever is lined up over the WR (olb in 4-3, slot in dollar) on a hard flat and pray he doesn't animate inside. Works half the time 🤷🏼♀️
I don't like manning up, sending blitzes etc because if they run anything else besides the RPO my defense ain't set up for it.

I might be annoying you at this point but how do you stop quick throws to the flats
