I don’t recommend doing this unless you just want to light millions and millions of coins on fire. With Dragons Dogma dropping tonight, MLB, and my distain for the current meta, I decided to YOLO it and kill off M24 in style.
I dropped nearly 1M Training into those 36k Easter re-rolls last evening, most of which came from my Mahomes 99 MVP quicksell. Although i haven't (yet) burned my cards for Chocolate currency, was trying to understand the best play for my limited candy investment here, or what gives me the best potential opportunity to acquire any of these LTDs -- assuming this will be a mirror / clone of the MUTmas botched holiday season where EA went full Grinch. I have no reason to doubt the same will happen here, it's not liek they're all of a sudden going to start investing some actual effort into the game.
I need to seriously retire from this madness, as well -- MUT starting to feel more liek wr0k than recreation, oof. Not gonna lie, getting that S5 (97) set late last evening re-invigorated me and renewed my interest in my squad. We'll see how much of the House Rules stuff i can grind through this weekend, to be determined if things continue to hold my interest. EA keeps making it more and more difficult.

The way I’m looking at it is , if it’s 12 thousand chocolate for a 98 and 5000 for a Bnd 98 then I believe the extravagant that’s 4900 chocolate is a Bnd 98

Your best bet to get LTDs is that eggstravagant basket in the store. It cost like 5,000 chocolate but I literally opened one of those and got the mad stork ltd. I must have gotten extremely lucky because the OP said he opened every single basket and didn’t get a single LTD..I’m going to stop while I’m up and that will be the only basket I open unless I have extra chocolates

I wouldn't do anymore Training rerolls if I were you, rather sell cards and use coins to by sugar rush cards then QS for chocolate.
The 95s give the best chocolate/coin value, the 98s the next best value. The 89s are a horrible value

Thanks you for the advice and pro-tips... unfortunately, the EA-gods still do not deem me worthy of having Auction House access, due to their unfortunate "coin distribution" policies from when i was selling Team Diamonds set pieces back in early December. Selling a bunch of 83 OVR Dak Prescott for ~150-200k coins seemingly got me removed and they refuse to manually review my account. Bleh.
So my hands are tied, i'm having to overpay for basically everything and it's exceedingly difficult to field a MUT squad, i'm basically on an island. I wanted to save enough (five) 95s so I was ready to pre-build and additional Sugar Rush cards/players that felt impactful. At the moment that has been limited to Christian Barmore, which was my 98 BND selection after the Giants OT came up "missing" from yesterday's launch. Oof.
I'm perpetually out of coins, as i'm forced to continue buying those HORRENDOUS coin packs from the Marketplace, that's really my only recourse. Back when Superbowl Run game mode still existed, I could earn upwards of ~750k coins per week if i were on the grind, although the last couple weeks became ridiculously sweaty and I was constantly having to fight for my life. Now i'm basically stuck without any way to reliably earn coins. Will inevitably keep playing House Rules, but those games aren't short.

I've read all the recent review/drama w/ DLC and the poor PC performance. Not really worried about DLC (we play MUT and deal w/ EA, I know that song and dance), and will run this game on console instead of PC. Plan on starting my journey this weekend. Already made my character and pawn in the creator app a few weeks ago.
DD just has to last me until June when Shadow of the Erdtree drops. I am beyond excited for that.

Ive opened 3 of the eggstravagant baskets. Pulled a SB basket. Matchup Nightmare LTD. Mad Stork LTD. Plan on ripping the last 7 for a shot at that third LTD egg. 🙏🏽

My man! You taking an existing character into the Land of Shadow, or planning to start fresh? I'm probably a bit over-levelled and missing some important items I'd want from my original (and only) playthrough, never committed to embarking upon NG+ -- not sure i'll be able to find another ~100 hours between now and June 21st. I haven't really logged in since 2022, except to chase some folks around in PvP from time to time, but i was never particularly good at the melee and spacing required. I'm an INT caster, usually annoying folks with DarkMoon greatsword proc if i use any weapons at all.
I am absolutely PUMPED for this, cannot wait to begin to piece together Marika's Mischief and attempt to understand what she's got hiding behind that golden veil. Messmer The Impaler looks pretty rad. Think he ran his own mother through with that spear?
