I played the weirdest defense in house rules last night

Dude would come out in 4-3...but would manually move his DEs like 10 yards outside of my tackles

It worked perfectly against me

My tackles would ignore them and try to double team the (2) inside DTs

I had like half a second to pass the ball, despite my opponent only blitzing 4 and sending 7 back in coverage

Was it actually 4-3? Or is it that dime blitz that civil runs? 

Seems like manually moving LBs/DEs to the outside generates crazy pressure in any formation this year.

Good thing EA has the NFL's back on a realistic simulation, as the reasoning for the exclusive license dictates. Since no offensive linemen in the NFL could possibly figure out how to deal with an edge rusher moving further outside.

This is the new Meta.  Move the ends way far out and put a qb contain on.  The o-line will concentrate on the guy lined up in front of him and completely miss the guy lined up 3 yards wide.

As long as the people using this know that they are complete garbage, it's whatever.

I had yet to run into it, but I saw it on a YT video last night.  I haven't been able to play today, but some are saying it was patched.  I hope so!!!!

if they do that run the ball right at them, had a guy try this and my derrick henry shreded his defence

this is my gripe with madden. as a football enthusiast, and someone who stopped watching content creators, how was i ever supposed to discover that this is defense 😭😭

It was DEs...not Dime, because they had 7 dropping back in coverage which made it hard to find anyone open

I was doing the house rules, so I couldnt run the ball, but I'm sure running would dominate this formation, just cant get enough time for deep passes

it wasn't de's and it is patched  335 odd  and dime 2-3 were the best formations and both could easily stop the run as well 

you could qb contain and then move the guys on the edge out far enough that the inside rushers would contain and the guy(s) you puled out would scream at the qb

the patch made it so the outside guys stay in contain

I'm tired of telling literally everyone I match up against that they are garbage and don't know jack about football, and if true also, that they have a terrible user instinct, but leaving with an L because I have morals.
