I think there is a chance EA changed the top 100 requirement in the past day or 2

something changed within the past 2 or 3 days.   Normally once you reach 3200 you switch to the top 100 logo, i have done it late in the season the last 2 seasons

today i hit 3200, logo didnt change, so i played a few more and im at 3300 now but no logo change.  

When i look at my leaderboard i show as still in champion rank when at this same rp last season i showed top 100 even though i was like 600.

It looks like half the people with the same number rp as me are champion and half are top 100 even though the real top 100 is like 3800 rp minimum

Did you experience the glitch where you weren't earning RP for a few games?

From what I've gathered, it seems the people not showing the update to legend tier at 3200 points experience a few games where they didn't earn RP and then suddenly received an influx of RP on a random game after.

i received the rp, and ive lost rp since, im at 3249 rp rank 828

i can see rank 770-880 under my leaderboard and half the people have the champion logo half have top 100 but in no real order

like the guy right above me is champion, the guy below is top 100
