I Won The Easiest Super Bowl Ever Tonight

Turned out it wasn’t my Super Bowl…

I was very distracted by my kids running around and asking me a million questions. I was just playing some H2H season games and rolling through the playoffs and the game loaded and had the Super Bowl intro so I assumed I was already there.

This guy was using Dollar: DB Blitz, Spinner, and other Cover 2.

I threw the ball once and then tried a run play and he stayed in Dollar. Went into another run play out of Strong Slot Formation and he stayed in Dollar. Only 5 plays and I had a TD.

Switch to defense and Champ Bailey INT on his 2nd play.

One more run out of Strong Slot went straight to the house.

I can’t understand how this guy made it to a Super Bowl and he absolutely refused to come out of Dollar? I don’t even run very much and he gave himself no chance.

Anyways, I didn’t have time to play another game tonight so I will likely get matched up with some crazy good player tomorrow morning and not win the easiest Super Bowl ever…

I swear super bowls are the easiest game of the season. I think I’ve played one good player in the Super Bowl all year. Won one 55-7 last night

I played a champions game earlier this afternoon where I was up 28-0 in the first half.....off of 3 pick 6s and a fumble 6. I literally got to play 28 seconds of offense in the first half before he quit at halftime lol. Could not believe it.

we need better rewards for winning Super Bowls (that isn't ours)

Couldn't agree more. I match up with people during my season in their damn super bowl, let alone playoffs which is MUCH more frequent in my 1st playoff game.

I’ve lost a few Super Bowls but there have been a few that were pretty easy too. Usually the playoffs matchups are harder it seems.

I can’t believe somebody stuck around to lose 55-7.

That is hilarious, I’ve had a few like that but I don’t know that it’s been 4 defensive TD’s for me. I think they usually quit after 2.

I completely agree, sometimes I feel bad because there’s so much at stake for the other player when it’s their Super Bowl but I might just be in a regular season game and have nearly nothing to lose.

He ended up quitting like halfway through the third quarter, then messaged me to tell me he knew he had no chance after looking at the depth chart. It was a little annoying bc it was late and I wanted to go to bed lol

Lol, I’ve been there. Up big against someone that clearly can’t compete and you’re just wondering why they won’t concede. Sometimes I think they’re hoping for a disconnect or something to give them a bailout win.

Yea, worst part was it took 8 minutes in the queue to find a game

I can't quite recall anything like that happening to me in many, many years of Madden haha. I think he just kept getting more and more pissed and wanted to prove a point, but unsuccessfully haha.

Yeah in all honesty it seems whoever is playing in their own playoffs(but even more so for the Super Bowl) team gets nerfed so bad and literally everything goes the opponents way.

That poor guy probably never went back into a H2H game again.
