Ill never understand sets

I get it in theory, and I know EA by design has no incentive to MAKE them profitable because surprise surprise, all they care about is making real money buttttttt...

The people who swear its worth the time and headache to do one. Like ever. Other than for "objectives" which again ea makes to DRAIN coins for real money etc whats the point? 

Everytime ive tried and checked in to see (like now with gf 96 set supposedly being easy profit) its break even at BEST and that's with  showing patience trying to "snipe" 

You might actually save by BUYING the 96 outright. I just don't get it.

Sets are good if you actually want the player. If you're doing it to make profit, it can be a bit tedious.

Like, I only really care about Packers. They're the only players I make a real effort to go get. So sets are good because doing them is usually cheaper than buying from the AH, unless you get a lucky snipe. You can spend a few minutes and get the set pieces for a decent-to-good price and done. Sometimes you may already have a piece or two sitting in your binder, so it's even cheaper.

Doing it for profit can almost become a job lol.

I follow BuffaloKaay on Twitch and he is an advocate of buying cards and building the sets.  It absolutely works, and if one keeps up with it, there are tons of coins to be made in the game.  However, as you all have said, it is tedious, time-consuming, and generally NOT fun to sit in the Auction House trying to snipe OVR's at a price point to make the sets profitable.  I will do it when I get low on coins, but otherwise I can't do it every day.

You have to be patient and check the different ways to make a set. 

I was making sb 95s at drop for 400k when they were selling above 600k

 Took 10 min to build each 92 I needed way before what they cost to buy straight up. 

Just have to recognize the patterns and feast when the market moves.

sucks you gotta play stonk market supreme or play the game....imagine playing to only be a menu streamer lol 80 mill coins and bad at the game lol

Me personally I make tons of coins of sets. Justs tests your patience a lil bit.
