Since I only play video games on weekends during the school year, I've delayed getting Madden 23 until a time which I could start playing it immediately. I plan to pick up the standard edition sometime today or tomorrow and wanted to know which players are the best budget options right now. Personally I really liked the Deebo Samuel card in gameplays I've seen, but I'm not sure if 50k qualifies as budget, or even how good I'm going to be at making coins this year. Which budget cards should I pick up?
These are great pickups right away as starters OR good depth players if you intend on opening packs right away and getting coins to get better starters.
QB: Kyler Murray (He’s been really fun to use IMO and has solid passing stats and good speed)
WR: Waddle (decent route running but short, fast and shifty. He’s been fun and is SUPER cheap)
SS: Jamal Adams (Good speed and amazing hit power)
MLB: Myles Jack (Great speed for how cheap he is, I user him)
CB: Jaire Alexander/Stephon Gilmore are great 83ovrs, but if you play zone a lot Awouzie is a solid pickup who’s insanely cheap and good at 81ovr
HB: Not sure who a good budget HB is yet, I tortured myself by using a trash HB until I got the free 83 sanders who’s solid
I mean its really going to depend how much you want them and your coin stack.
50k is a good chunk for a player right now but if its one youre going to keep for a long time its probably worth it.
Ive kept everything but my RB under 10k pickups or ones Ive pulled already.
But you also played last year so you should have an idea whats good/not for the price.
QB: Kyler
WR: Deebo/Waddle
HB: Patterson
If you played m22 and got some rp tokens, I would recommend picking up Chris Olave
