playing h2h now i see more meta passing than  EVER.

but its an illusion, ea did this for a money grab and soon enough there will be a flood of multiple 0 ap players and then 6 ap wont matter.

and there will be a wave of 99s with multiple 0 ap buckets that EVERYONE will have to get to compete.

not to mention folks that played with theme teams cant get away with using 96-97 cards anymore, because you cant supplement expensive ap cards from fall anymore.

if you can play for real, ap was not the reason you would lose a game before and it wont  be now.

what will happen is people will be buying every new card that comes between now and july.

You've obviously never played FIFA UT or you would think grinding for cards in MUT is a walk in the mf park. Lol

Just to put it in perspective, some of the best cards in FUT can go for more than 10M coins, you get less coins per match, AND more of the rewards you get are bound. I should also mention that you can't even keep a single duplicate in your binder, so you're forced to auction or constantly do SBCs (sets). 

There isn't a single card in MUT that I wanted that I wasn't able to get with a maximum of like three days of solid grinding. I think RG3's LTD took me maybe 4 or 5 days tops but other than that I'm usually sitting on a decent reserve of coins and I don't play the market or anything. I rarely do solo's and I barely pay attention to field pass rewards. MUT feels generous after playing FUT. I think it's a good balance between making you work for your cards and just getting handed everything.

Played a couple Champs games and have really seen the changes. As soon as the X-Factor on Flash or Bus is gone, there is just no offense out of these guys. What’re you running on offense? I’m still using pocket deadeye on Montana for 4ap 1ap on my center for secure & 1ap on Tony for route tech

I have yet to play H2H since the AP drop, but I'm looking forward to it. I changed my offensive AP count but haven't messed wit  defense yet. On offense I'm rolling with Fearless and SFL on fitzmagic. Still have faulk loaded up with 2 AP and then the rest on WRs. Defense I actually have no clue how I'm going to distribute the AP lmao

It changed my game but i really like how balanced it feels now

Best thing to happen to madden 23

It was so annoying playing against players who just had KOs everywhere and really weren't good at the game. With the new update they can't do that anymore and while this effects other people I never ran meta and mainly pass so this didn't effect me in any way.

Who is your qb and rb? I only ask because I used to think I would just roll with my solid BND qb and rb until I realized it's well worth it to go all out on those positions. I recommend flash and rodgers. They are just too good and worth the money for sure

the meta will change slightly. But people are cheerleading EA despite the fact that EA exploits them. it’s a microcosm of capitalism in general, the average person will cheerlead its benefits while ignoring exploitation. if I steal 20 dollars from you I’m not your hero if I give you 10

None of us are cheerleading EA. We know EA exploits us. I personally am just pleasantly surprise by how much the 6 AP change has improved my competitive gameplay experience. I'm going on three days of great H2H gameplay in the higher tiers, even in matches I don't win. 

Is the change ill-timed? Yes. Is it likely meant to create demand for future double 0 AP players? Yes. But I think it accomplished the goal of skill-based gameplay.
