Guy had swift and nothing about 80s as lineman and dominated me every snap. Not even run committing would stop it. Any ideas? I literally tried every formation and man zone.
The only thing that stops it is spreading line, crash up, then shut off Xbox cause this game is crap and def is impossible.
I do pretty well against the run. My go to is 3-4, QB contain DE, spread LB and user open gaps.
If they are a balanced player, this gets shredded by the pass, so I will jump in 3-3-5 which is solid.
Nickel Wide with the line spread can stop stretch. If you bring your safeties down you can also guard against dive & inside zone. BNOG also works pretty well if you call Cover 4 and Cover 2.

I second this great strategy

Right now running is pretty damn hard to stop there’s a few strategies like 3-4 that work pretty well by I have yet to find a balanced play for people who like to mix it ip
Watch pwny montanas video on yt. at work so can’t grab the link. Works great from the 3-3
If it’s a run I use the “46” set I think is what it’s called But I’m not sure Basically it’s just a 5 man front. it’s best to do the cover 3 blitz (don’t know the actual name) which rushes the 5 lineman and the linebackers are out in coverage. Pre snap just pinch the whole team, show blitz to pull down the safeties, shade underneath, and throw on a contain . I like to user the middle safety down closer to the line of scrimmage It will almost for sure shut down almost any run play out there inside and out. If It does end up being a passing play it works surprisingly well too as long as you can user well over the middle. I use this within 10 yards of the endzone almost exclusively too. You can also drop into full cover 3 by dropping a lineman to shake things up a bit. Another odd thing to try that works really well as long as you’re pretty sure it’s a pass is sticking with the 5 man rush and then putting two of them in a spy. once the ball is snapped give it around one second, then if he hasn’t passed yet click in the right stick to send the spies to the QB. Obviously if it’s a run it won’t go well but it can really confuse players who aren’t expecting it

I use cover 4 out of Nickel and it seems to work
3-4 odd, bear fronts, 3-3 (not cub), 4-4, I always crash up and make them cut back, run inside. Check your run fits and see if your safeties are involved, if not move them down so they are. Cover 2 corners are involved, cover 4 safeties are involved. Understand leverages, pass commit vs all rpos.
if Someone is truly a toter and they will avoid throwing the ball at all costs that means you can get 900 INTs if you figure out how to stop them from running.
It’s not hard to stop the run for the most part, just gotta be in the right formations and keep body’s around. Spreading the line helps, just gotta really shoot the right gaps up the middle.
Some dudes just are really good at running in some games. I had a guy side juke through the tiniest hole in the line and took it to the house, an I’m like bruhhhhhh.

Yes I can see how that works but without safety’s deep I’m getting beat by Jerry and Hester all day.

I haven’t played “truly toters” and 3-4 bear will get destroyed in the passing game
Swift?! Damn thats rough.
I run drop 4 or quarters out of 3-4 and spread the backers to force it inside.
But once they get rolling i feel like the game just makes them better. Same with if you start the game passing 10/10 its like the game recognizes it and you cant miss
