They have people just keep finding new ways to “exploit” much like you probably do because you’re not very good at the game

Does anyone know whether the prior 99 Mahomes MVP cards were good?

just logged in and looked, obv token not auctionable, and the 99 will be BND but is quicksellable for 500k coin

one of biggest factors that makes the best players at the top (Henry etc) the best IS because they are the best at exploiting the AI..

The "Hive Mind" who care and comment about release and abilities beng the "deciding factor" cant win otherwise, because their whole Offense is predicated around animations and not their own skill set.
I assumed ( maybe wrongly?) that he was mocking that belief and I joined in mocking that belief.
I completely agree. I haven't had any problems with his release. It's too bad people all have to use the same thing to "win" come on man. It's not that hard to adjust your throw cadence to adjust. Learn to play for yourselves and stop with the YouTube meta. These players bore me.
itscush2push said:It really sounds like some people need/ rely on a certain throwing motion and an ability to win.
IMO thats pretty bummy.
Couldn't agree more. Everyone is the same. Same players, same plays...every play, it's boring. Grow up people play football. It's sad that people can only win with certain abilities. Must be a skill issue

That's fine. Will there be a set to build the same card?

Anyone remember what it was last year? I think it was 3x97 cards back then but not sure

This is the grammar police. We have multiple warrants for your arrest.
Patrick Mahomes was a JAG on Sunday before Dre Greenlaw's Achilles disappeared. Travis Kelce carried the Chiefs through the second half. The true MVP should have been a Chiefs defender, possibly George Karlaftis. But the media contacts with the voting assignments are made up mostly of guys who can only recognize volume statistics, and don't know how to interpret them in the context of the game.
So we get a Mahomes MVP item.
Mahomes drops today!

Read this closely... as it seems that this is something you never seem to get...
When people come to these forums they are looking for the best cards for certain things. In MOST cases, it is the BEST card with which to win games. If any QB , your preference, was the "best" at winning games, you'd see all the MCS guys using different QBs based on the team that they support...you'd see QBs like Stafford in the MCS qualifiers, etc...
Guys who want to win...and actually try to earn a living playing Madden, use the true BEST cards...that is somewhat subjective based on scheme but really, you see SO many of the same players on their teams...there's a REASON why
You need to realize that you're posting on a forum where people discuss Madden strategies, the best cards, etc....to WIN GAMES. Now, personally, I won plenty of games over the past 15+ years, since Madden became competitive, so I don't care that much anymore. I play for fun and I don't feel the need to be comp anymore...but I still give opinions here and reviews to HELP people choose the best cards for THEM.
So what you define as "best" is different than what you present here. Your def of "best" is the card that represents the player you like or one that has one trait or attribute you like, as opposed to the actual best card to use to win sweaty games.

Ok so as someone who has played, coached, scouted, and been around football for almost 50 years I have some insight here....
A) It takes time to adjust to what the opponent's scheme is. So you will always see the best players play their best as the game goes on and on.
B) Even guys who have been to multiple SBs get tight in the big game at first
C) I have NOT been a Mahomes fan but when you win 3 in 5 years...that's undeniable
D) When you drive the field not once but twice with the Super Bowl on the line at the end of regulation AND OT (and bear in mind the Niners did NOT stop Mahomes in regulation - the clock ran out), that's special.
E) Kelce was simply not getting open in the first half. The Chiefs O line was getting beaten all game. Mahomes adjusted. Gave his guys time to get open. Audibled to the correct play and executed
F) One more thing you probably did not know. On the crucial 4th and 1 in OT, Mahomes running it was the THIRD option but he saw Bosa crash inside and made sure Kelce was out in front. Brilliant decision and execution.
That dude came up money when the money was on the line.

Hmm maybe it’s because Quarterback is the most difficult position on a football team? Maybe it’s because he threw for over 300 yards. Or perhaps drove his offense down the field in 2 min to tie the game in the SB? Or maybe because he drove his offense all the way down field to throw the game winning touchdown?
Pick one.
