Thinking of picking up Elam and running inside shade on him. Is it really worth it?

Absolutely. I run inside/outside shade on all my CBs except PS2, and run an entirely man scheme. Mike Haynes is still on my team, but with him and Cromartie, before their stats started getting a little dated compared to the new faster WRs with better abilities, they were absolutely lockdown. I just picked up Elam and Sauce, so we will see how they play. But I'd say 3/4 of the time my inside/outside shade abilities activate and play very well.

Inside shade is a great ability when it works but it doesn’t seem to work all the time.

I play Mike Haynes in the slot with inside shade and he would still get fried from time to time in man coverage on crossers and corners so I switched to mid route KO to save the 1 AP.

IMO KO abilities are just better, maybe I’ll reconsider once One Step Ahead becomes a discounted ability.
