Totally agree.  They create the meta and then create the counter to it so it becomes really difficult to get excited about new cards if they don't fit into the box they've created.  Hope to see a complete overhaul on strategy next year but I'm positive this method is creating them a shit ton of money, so I don't see it changing anytime soon.

they created this issue out of their inability or lack of effort and interest into making players actually perform differently vs any other on the field. Hight, weight, and such  should all be factors and aren't. deion can tackle anyone just like ray lewis which is stupid imo

Agreed and until that gets fixed, we will continue to get lazy bullshit from EA. How hard can it be to just make cards perform to their attributes?
