All his stats look really good but 83 Throw Under Pressure and "Paranoid" sense of pressure really worries me about taking him over Patterson or Sauce.
If youre not getting pressured on every play hell be fine. Just in high pressure/lots of blitz he wont be as good, since he doesnt get fearless.
Patterson is nice for a rec back until Bush or Kamara get more.
Sauce is probably the best all around player from the mentors.
I think he’s fine. He’s not at the level of Tua, Bledsoe, Fitz, and Herbert, but that’s a given. Players manage to do well with Montana, who has an 82 TUP, along with Hurts, who has the paranoid trait. It really depends on your play style. Fields has a great skill set if you run an offense that relies on short, quick passes, RPOs/Options, and designed QB runs. If you like to stretch the field and wait for deeper corner routes to develop, he’s probably not going to be the best for you, given his TUP and paranoid trait. Also, If you’re good at getting out of the pocket and improvising plays, I think Fields can be good for you.
He’s not a bad pick up since you get two mentors for free. I think he’s an upgrade from Mariota and Tebow, equal or maybe a touch better than Hurts, and considerably worse than all the 90+ QBs.
