Is Madden 25 worth buying

For example, i finally managed to grind my way through a full 30 game offline "Season" which is supposed to be the method players can use to build their squads.  I got three uhhh "Red Zone" packs (i think) and from that I think my reward was liek 4500 coins and maybe a single 80, one or two other 78s, but it felt liek not only a huge waste of time, but a real slap in the face.  None of those players would make even a NMS squad.

Avoid Madden and especially Ultimate Team unless / until you hear that the NFL has decided to open up the exclusive licensing rights, at which point, i'm sure we'll all begin hearing about a 2K branded NFL game.  I suspect that wouldn't be until 2026 at the earliest.  However, that is merely speculation on my part.

I want to love this game, i really do, but it's not good.  I'd probably rate it liek 1.5 out of 5 stars.  Maybe less, that's kind of generous.  There's nothing new and what does exist barely works.  So many game breaking bugs and glitches, it's absolutely miserable to try and play online.  You'll get route stem glitched and speed boosted straight into the dirt.  My advice would be to go gnaw your own arm off, that'll be more entertaining.  😜

By the ultimate bundle of regret ,you get both games with double the dissatisfaction and disappointment...all your rewards should kick in when they don't matter much ..

And its boring. Like, if you're NMS there is soooooo little to do and improving your side without buying packs is hard. I'd wait, get it for $20 in November or something. Or just don't bother.

Typically the most enjoyable period (for me) has been mid-late JAN into FEB... two years in a row now, that was easily the most fun, peak Ultimate Team, IMO.  Cards are just starting to get good around this time, it's building into the Superbowl hype machine, there have been a couple/few rounds of patches to clean up the most glaring issues and gameplay bugs (or they ultimately revert back to where we started after numerous failed patch attempts) and you can still find advantages from building a team.  Whereas in true end-game, everyone is just basically 99 OVR and max 99 every relevant stat, plus abilities out the ying yang.  June and July MUT gets kind of nutty.  August and September at times (especially this year, specifically H2H) feels borderline unplayable.  Abilities drive everything in this game, the game just does not play well without.  Although in many respects, this year is better than prior years, most QBs (not named Tim Tebow, or Matthew Stafford) i've tried have been totally usable.

I started my first Ultimate Team just before Christmas after grabbing M23 & NBA2K23 for $35 (each) via Black Friday sales.  That is totally the way.  There's hopefully thirty-five dollars worth of fun.
