Is MUT23 Worth It?

I’m still on 22 current gen and still having fun. Actually getting better matchups on H2H now with way less cheese opponents. Every year I say it’s my last and then end up buying the new game in the fall. 
 

I know it’s still early but after reading so many forums with negative feedback on 23 it seems like the game may be off to one of the worst starts ever? 

Anyways, just curious how many of you would have still bought the game knowing what you know now?

To be honest, I probably would have still bought it. This is the only decent football game I know of with realistic gameplay, and it seems they are making improvements.

Once the NCAA game comes out though, I might be leaving Madden permanently.

I feel gameplay is much better than the past few versions of Madden.  However, the reward structure, pack contents and set values stink,  Unless you want to invest real cash it really is an uphill battle building a team.  Maybe pick it up around Christmas when they basically give the game away for free?  Otherwise, I really have not had the desire to play MUT the past two weeks and usually Im pretty diehard this early in the season.

I bought it cause i thought it was gonna be a huge tribute to John Madden but didnt know it was gonna be such a dumpster fire of a game, so i shouldve spent the money on wwe 2k22 instead cause thats the other main game i wouldve wanted

Gameplay is the best it’s been since 17

Everything else about the mode - content, rewards, solos, user interface is the worse since 17

if you’re having fun, stay there.

It’s funny how everybody thinks the NCAA game will be so different. It’s made by the same team. the greed will still be there.

I love mut. Ive never played a mut year that I didnt enjoy and I really like this year so far.

Thanks for the advice everybody! I’m going to hang on 22 for a while but may entertain making the move to 23 in a couple months if EA makes some changes by then.

Stay where you are.  This game is a dumpster fire.  No reason to invest any time or money until they show some attempt at improvement.

Damn man, I hope you find a another hobby that brings out some happiness in your life.
