I've been running backyard QB (basically hot route master) on FP Mike Vick and I've liked it because it helps me make perfect plays, but everyone keeps talking about how good SFL is, and I haven't used it this year yet, so is it that good and a should run SFL or is it not that big of a difference
Yes it 100% is. Once you use SFL, you won't be able to go without it (I can't anyway.) Corner routes, crossers, etc become so much easier, especially with all the KO's now on defense.
Yes, there's a lot of tight window throws you can make with SFL that you shouldn't even attempt without it. It's definitely noticeable.
That said HRM may be a better fit for your offense and if it is you should stick with it. HRM is still a good ability.
I would try out someone with SFL and see if you like it better than HRM. But it does take a some games to adjust to using it because QBs with SFL have less arc on their passes

Yes, don't walk... RUN to add SFL (or any velocity ability, such as PLE would also count here) to your QB and watch your passing attack come alive. With the added 11AP on defense, i believe we're going to be seeing a lot more KOs and these velocity abilities will enable you to fit balls into tighter windows. YMMV, but i'd suggest that SFL is currently one of, if not THE best ability in the entire game, across both offense and defense. I cannot imagine playing without it at this point. Unless you run the ball 90+% of your plays, Set Feet Lead should be part of everyone's offense.
If you like Vick stick with him because once you go to SFL you won’t go back to a player that doesn’t have it.

This... i tried Andrew Luck over the weekend and omg... the difference is mind-blowing. I do rely on HRM, but I've went to SFL + 2 TE Apprentices at 1 AP each instead.

Good move. I’ve always used Vick cause I love his release and had him until SFL came out and I can’t go back to him until he gets it and by that time I’ll probably be done playing Mut for the year.

I just picked up William Perry to replace Luck... trying the ever loved 50/50 GOM Future theme team.
Yes, I played this kid once and he had gunslinger and set feet lead on andrew luck and was dotting me up
pass for me......HRM #1

The new Michael Vick card has set feet lead
I tried SFL
I didn't notice a difference that these people appearantly can't live without and for 5 AP it's hard to justify when I have 4 AP on HRM and GS for collectors edition vick
You can try it as it does help a little bit but by the sounds of it HRM might fit your offense better
Short answer: been using it since it came out-it’s really really good
