Is the game dead?

I realized  playing during early morning hours the game seems dead. I understand people are sleeping and what not, but still. The high end cards on the market drop significantly in price due to the fact that nobody is buying them, hence constant undercuts bringing their price down. I’ve put cards on the auction block for extremely cheap and waited a decent while for them to sell, and also looked at snipes go untouched for a decent while as well. I understand that the playerbase is higher mid day, but I don’t think Madden has ever been as dead as it is this year.

No, the game isn't dead. You're talking about a period of time when the East Coast is just getting up in the morning and getting ready for work, school, etc. and other parts of the world are still sleeping or don't cover most of the player base. It also doesn't help that the app is worse than last year, so even at times when people are awake, but away from their consoles, they won't interact with the market as much as previous years.

yes it is dead at that time of the morning. also though i am on old gen still and the game is totally dead i wanted to buy an 80 ovr guard yesterday and there was only one up for 33k. like hell no im not buying that

The market got cut into 5 pieces, so every market is going to be less liquid.

Yeah this is a big hit and miss here. 

Plus with everyone turned off by the passes and D play, unless youre addicted/streamer, theres no real reason to play that much.

i personally feel like they need to reunite the markets. but then again very soon madden will be limited to next gen only

I remember when MUT was actually fun and you can play for hours and not even have to touch h2h. Just so watered down now and it's all about money.

i have 2.6 million coins and idk, i feel like the cards are just not worth the high prices so far. Such a weird year

MUT is dead to me.

PC seems more dead to me than previous years, and there should be an increase because PC finally got the next gen version.

kinda i would say so on an xbox 1 its very difficult to get into a game could be just me

ive played Madden since 89' and this is probably the most pricey, disconnected and just not fun game of the lot. Sadly i think this year will be my last. Hoping NCAA next year gets me back excited about EA's version of football
