Is the limited comp pass players limited to 1000 or 1000 per console (3000 total)(xbox, ps and pc)?

The Limited version of that player can only be obtained by the first 1000 users to reach the level that rewards the player.

When it was first revealed, EA said it was total. But, I've seen a couple posts on here with people getting the LTD version long after the top 1000 was done on another platform. So I'm inclined to believe there's a split. But obviously take anything you read on the internet with a grain of salt especially when they don't have proof
