This is my first year playing MUT and as of right now i have a 70/70 Sb tt and im finding it hard to switch out player because of the speed and i was wondering how long i can ride this team out for without having to buy another team?

I still have a 70 SB / 35 Combine team. I'm looking for Sugar Rush to potentially be very good too though ... if we get multiple discounted abilities with up to a 50-60 chemistry, I may drop down to 25-50 SB and fill in the rest with Sugar Rush guys. Ability discounts rule MUT now, as a lot of players are at 98+ speed now.

TBH its still very legit as of today.There is a chance with SR being 1+ part promo starting tomorrow it could come close depending but i have 50 SB chem and i want move on either its just way to OP to leave it

100% end game. I run a 70/70 SB 27/50 Combine and it’s so much fun. NTL and Mel Blount are my outside CB’s with DRC in the slot. I’m staying with this team and If I do move on it will be a 50/50 Ravens team to end the year. All of my WR’s and DB’s and skill positions are all 99 speed. Can’t get any faster than that so I would say it’s definitely an end game team.

Mostly end game. I went away from it because there are so many discounted abilities. Corners are Woolen, Surtain, and Peanut with Deep zones and mid zones. Safeties are Simmons and Hamilton with 1 AP spent for Deep zones and PA, Users have lurk and Mid zones for 1 AP, d line is stacked with 6 AP. Offense is also just AP savings. Oline has all secure protectors and all days, linchpin, identifier. TE has post up and grab n go plus 3rd down specialist. HB, QB, Wr's all have zero AP abilities.
I am 50/50 SB, 25 Combine and I use the TOTY strat. I have 98 - 99 on everyone.
To answer your question - yes it can be used even through this promo. 99 speed and great cards with great traits at each postion. But, there are now better cards strictly because of abilites, and abilities rule this game.

I run a 60/60 combine team, and IMO opinion it is slightly superior then the sb team. Also if you have not noticed, the combine theme team players are all crashing and will probably will continue to fall so until tomorrow night. If you have the coins and want to make the switch, now is a great time to do so, as I do not plan on upgrading from the combine theme team until mid April as all of the skill positions have end game speed and abilities, and still will get a few more aka ltd's.

I think it will be usable but at this point I think we'll eventually get players with better discounts that will be worth using over the best super bowl players

Definitely as of right now, it will probably be endgame but there will be better tts coming up id assume. If you don’t have much money left to swap tts then keep rocking it

Stat wise on a full TT yes. Abilities no. For me, better combos out there than full SB. I sold most of the SB guys off and I’m down to 25 which isnt hard with howley, ward, cmc, Reid. Still use Sapp and George.

Man after my own heart. While i do not typically get fired up about various promotional specific theme teams, this Superbowl content felt extremely premier -- no regrets investing so heavily into it. We STILL don't have X-factors anywhere else that start ON and remain active the entire game. That alone is impressive, but as you so accurately pointed out, we've been spoiled, running basically 98-99 SPD players at ALL of our skill positions for ~6-7 weeks now.
I'm married to my hybrid; 70/70 SB, 25/50 49ers & 6/6 AKA Crews (Y2K) for the foreseeable future, unless/until I see a clear upgrade path. I'd love to be wrong here, but after the disappointing grinch Xmas from EA, i won't be holding my breath for premier Easter drops. The cards were absolutely fantastic from MUTmas, but only the top 1% of players were able to afford, acquire or use them... which is NOT me.
I had joking suggested i'd probably still be using this SB team well into April or May... but that is becoming more and more reality as the days progress.
