With the state of cards in the game being so close to 99 overalls is there still a point in theme teams?

Yeah if you can’t afford all the new cards that come out. If you don’t have enough coins to build a 97-99 overall team with any players that are out, you should probably run a theme team to boost your players and overall. Just got my Packers TT to a 98 overall, and looking to switch from Lamar to Herbert so there’s definitely wiggle room to use other players. Hell, the 96 Lazard that just came out is chemmed up to a 99 for me.

I asked this question not that long ago. It seems that many who currently run a TT might abandon them so they can play with who they want and have some fun.

For me I am looking forward to using the UL boosts for each position group as the become available

I’m running a Cowboys TT at the moment but I do have the UL chem active for my LB‘s and my OL.

I like having my Broncos TT for fun value, while maintaining a competitive style with some cheat players here and there. Personally I feel like having and maintaining a Theme Team makes the game more fun and more engaging
