Is this a hot take or do you agree?

I personally feel like Hot Route Master should not be an ability. Every QB should get every hot route. Here's my rational. Something like escape artist makes sense because someone like Tom Brady should not get that. However, in real football, any QB can call any hot route at any time. Regardless of how good or bad they are. It's not something that requires skill or athletic ability. It's just telling your WR or TE what to do. I understand the potential counter argument, but it doesn't make logical sense.

Thoughts?

I somewhat agree, but then there would be no reason to use slower qbs. everyone would be using Josh Allen, Henry, or hurts, or Russell wilson, and no variation.

True, my counter argument to that would be you don't see people use slow QB's much anyway and most have "Apprentice" abilities on their team which is basically the same end result.

Escae artist is dumbest ability of all time. I actually use it quite a lot, but it's still dumb non the less. I am getting rid of running around with my QB these days as much as possible too and just keep throwing, but it's just way to easy to abuse it

I like the idea of everyone gettting hrm, but everyone would be using ea to run around all the time so it wouldn’t work really

Ive never used a Hot route before but HRM seems the best thing since sliced bread.

It gives value to pocket passers and a reason to use them. You can’t convince me someone like Justin fields can tell his team what to do and control the offense like Tom Brady could. vice versa with escape artist. Saying every QB should get HRM because they have can do it in real life is the same as saying every QB can get escape artists because they can all scramble. You still can make hot routes without it hurt not as good as some. Same way you can still scramble with Brady just not as good as others

i would  make HRM available to all cards somehow,gotta be a way to balance it... mainly because i wanna use Joe on my niner team.lol..i believe im not alone .
