Am not defending ea. they’re incompetent. I lost in an undefeated season in my playoffs off a dc last night. But if you’re saying abusing glitches without giving an example and calling it cheating, you’re just uncompetitive and that’s okay

that’s,,,not what cheating is. If you can give me an example of a play that’s cheating and then explain why it’s not part of the game go for It. EA is a sack of shit; encouraging kids to gamble, inconsistent knockouts on the sidelines, stopping the run out of dollar and terrible servers are all bad for madden

I think the massive bugs were worse the last two years honestly.  Also remember when they could never get the drops to work properly?   I still have PTSD from the Derwin James promo from years ago

This is the worst madden EVER!!! Even madden in the 80’s and 90’s was better at least EA cared then. Also don’t bash 19 I liked 19

In my opinion after madden 20 it was not good anymore

oh, absolutely. this year felt extremely rushed in all promos, and EA is doing a poor job at giving players upgrades. for example, Micah Hyde is still at a Core Elite. it’s MARCH.

I had less fun with Madden 23, I hated the meta but everything before that was better for sure.

This was a thoughtful and very honest post! It will be interesting to see what changes if any will be done with the consumers now having more options to play NCAA or eventually another Simulation NFL game.

Agreed. Couldn't have said it better! I'm not too big on competitive, when the solo's rewards are bad it's tough to grind

Wow, this is such a truly impressive summary surrounding the current state of MUT as well as an amazing (and accurate) list of grievances.  It's difficult to overstate how few fucks EA gives at this point, everything is about the almighty dollar -- that's what the whole "make or break" year actually meant, how far can we push the community before breaking them? EA is going to try and find out... how much money they extract with how few employees and how little effort.  They've somehow tricked the community into thinking that giving us cards from last year (i.e. AKA Crews, "from the vault") is somehow a design choice, instead of lazy ass, pathetic attempts to not have to pay employees or staff, such as art department and QA testers to squad bugs.

It's painful and beyond sad.  Low effort, constantly recycled is the way i continue to describe this year and showing no signs of improving.  Although, once in a blue moon they shoot themselves in the foot from not understanding or playing their own game.  The Superbowl and Combine content remain THE premier theme teams, many of us have been running 98-99 SPD theme team players for 2+ months and very little of the new content is impactful, at least when compared with the discounted abilities and sheer speed offered from 70/70 Superbowl hybrid theme teams.  The second most popular by far is that 6/6 AKA Crews, which is super simple to cobble together, can be achieved with as few as three players and that +1 speed boost is super useful.

Sugar Rush has been a huge let down, although my expectations were quite low after MUTmas, EA had no problems going full Grinch on us and this appears the same.  Still no massive economy breaking bugs or glitches this year, which is nothing shy of a miracle.  Sad state of affairs, i'm not sure the game can ever improve while EA holds exclusive rights to NFL simulation fatball.  😔

This is the right result.

While EA does own a patent for DDA technology, that technology never was in FIFA, Madden or NHL, and never will be.  We would not use DDA technology to give players an advantage or disadvantage in online multiplayer modes in any of our games and we absolutely do not have it in FIFA, Madden or NHL.

I have a far easier time believing that the game is simply a buggy ass, inconsistent mess, which is what many of us are seeing and experiencing and not something outright as nefarious as DDA, but obviously i have no proof to back up either position, merely speculation and anecdotal experiences.
