Even when you make the right adjustments, shit doesn't work right anyway. RPOs are the dumbest things ever and you shouldn't need to do all kinds of shit to defend them.
x factors shouldn't exist at all but that's another story

there’s adjustments to stop everything, but I do wish the X factors didn’t exist, especially ones that start on. Nothing we can do about it once it exists, but it’s terrible for game balance.

I just feel like it shows how out of touch they are with the community. I know hundreds of people play MUT and i know some like abilities and x factors but i would put money on a majority not liking them. If abilities are built into the card like MLB The Show, i can deal with it. X factors have no place in a sports game. It's arcade and bullshit

I wouldn’t mind them if they were balanced, and I wouldn’t mind if the game got reworked so that gameplay without abilities was more consistent. If you just took them out of the game madden would be damn near unplayable and even more inconsistent. I also like the knowledge skill gap that abilities add, but some prefer a skill gap in other areas, which abilities can affect (eg tighter reads are easier with SFL).

the gameplay is definitely the most stale it has ever been. Bunch strong, or angry runs+vanguard Bo and 43 even 61 are the only things I ever play against and I'm not even in a high tier. It's so tough to grind field passes when I get bored after 2 games. The whole thing feels more like a chore.

I thought they were telling everybody how much this game changed and the things they were offering in this year‘s Madden and yet the game to me is very similar to last year‘s game especially with these abilities having a major impact.
They said things were fixed in the offseason but yet there not . i enjoy building my team and feeling happy once I get a certain player but it doesn’t last long because the second I get into a game I see very little improvement and continue to see the inconsistency from Game to Game and how most games come down to either a glitched play or something poorly designed being exploited. It’s just upsetting to see that the game play is the issue and they just can’t get it right whatever that is .

lmao I can get on board with that. Unless they win man, winning solves everything. I tried a triple option scheme with the 3 Bo’s when I got bored of bunch and I just hated it. I don’t get how people have fun with it, but to each their own obv

Yeah I think we’re just stuck in a the pain of not being the accuracy of a simulation game and the unevenness of a parody or more game like football game.

I think regs has a bit more variety because it’s a more casual game mode - anyone with a mut team has put time into the game for sure
