Nobody is spending money on old gen Madden 24 with the menu lag. Guarantee you it is costing EA.

I imagine a few still spend anyway in spite of the issue, but yeah. It would cost money for sure. I am guessing they simply see "profit margins down, blah blah" and focus on immediate costs and ignore the long term, as this is the typical dysfunctional approach of a lot of failing business models. So it's because of money it doesn't get fixed, even when it COSTS them money, you know what I mean?

They knew that everyone would buy the game anyway and just saved 1 Billion. Smart Move...
It's literally the same game Iol. Same teams, same players, just not called FIFA.
I said this in another post a few weeks ago. Not about the in game spending. EA has one game and are trying to make it work across 6 platforms. Menus sucked on current Gen and PC. They patched and fixed it and it screwed up Ps4 and Xbox One and the large majority of the player base was thrilled But it killed old Gen. They aren’t changing it back and it is really hard to program multiple instances of the same software. EA doesn’t do anything that is hard or requires extra work.
