Hit chew clock and pound the ball. Your argument has a counter argument. If you don't want to play a full game in July don't start one. I'm a mid player and trying to get better and use these scenarios to find plays against meta bullshit. Also I have won plenty of games after being down 10
Best way to make these people quit I've found is to message them "please don't quit, I'm working on my stats and this looks like it's a good game where I can finally rack them up. "
The psyche of a madden player insists they don't want to help a fellow player in any way so more often than not they will actually quit sooner to ensure they "show you".
I just consider it another mind game of madden lol.

It sounds like we might’ve played against the same person recently. A couple days ago I won a champs game 55-7. He kept trying the same 3 run plays even towards the end.
I honestly don’t care that much if someone wants to stick around but sometimes it does seem pretty petty and childish based on their behavior.

If one can not comprehend that staying in a match which is unwinnable while they are also not generating any offense in that same game, they are making an unintelligent decision, and just completely wasting their time, as well as everyone else's.
If I am "entitled" because I hope my opponent has half a brain, and can make the intelligent to decision to quit when the game is lost and he has no hope of coming back, as well as not accomplishing anything productive along they way, then so be it.

There are a lot of people out there like this unfortunately.

Reverse-psychology can be effective.

It’s not up to you to decide how other people spend their time. You don’t want to keep playing, then quit.
Entitlement issues and no heart no soul no balls? Ouch. Like you said, if you’re accepting of this, so be it.

This, minus the first part.
Earn your win or move on.

Ohhhh, heh. Well, if he's just continuing to tote the rock each and every single play, i would tend to agree with your statement. I originally came here to push back (slightly), as I briefly considered quitting last evening after going down 14-0 from throwing a terrible pick-six. Glad i stuck it out, managed to crawl my way back to a 27-24 victory after kicking a clutch FG as time expired.
I experienced three total Superbowl games last evening, only one of which was my own. The final game I played, i actually thought dude should have toughed it out, he wasn't down by that much and it was only the first quarter, but happy to finish the bulk of my H2H seasons requirements for the week. Probably should still go back and rip off a few MUT Champs wins if possible before tomorrow's reset. Running out of steam to grind this. Trying to just enjoy what few aspects of July MUT I'm able to.

At the end of the day, it just comes down intelligence and that some people are just more intelligent then others. They want to be efficient with their time.
Also one could flip this around and argue that the person who is remaining in a lost game is entitled, as they are not being considerate of their opponents time, and are just wasting minutes since they believe they are entitled to do so because "they bought the game". If you are one of these people, you need to get a life.

And if you don’t have the intelligence to recognize that you’re the one wasting your own time, then at the end of the day it comes down to entitlement and incompetence.
